the first time it is used, it will try to get u to get mail via the microsoft web site. Go to your options and change the part where you have your "userid"@hotmail.com" or live.com or whatever service you are using. change the site to something bogus (me@memail.com). sign in again then it will error out after trying to attach and download. After this happens go back into option and put the correct userid@hotmail.com or whatever back in. Should work ok after that.
