Qtek S200 G3, flashed with G4 , please heelp!

So here's the deal, I have a Qtek S200, stuck in tri-color screen.
The screen says IPL 2.10, SPL 2.20.0001.
I have been told that this is a G4 device that was flashed with a G4 IPL.
Any number of flashing tools I use tells me Invalid tool, file open, error etc etc.
It appears that my device is toast.

IS there a way to revive this little beauty>?:(

Oh and also I was told the Oipro had a solution , but since PM and other ways to contact, no response.

you can't flash a g3 with g4 upgrader. the program don't allow you to do this..
if your spl / ip is like x.xx.0001 is a g4 if is x.xx.0000 is a g3
you can instal a g3 update on bootloader (the 3 colors screen)
just connect to usb port and start the program/try with novendor update. ( the program not the ms dos)

So I downloaded Prophet Shadow 2.0 rom and ran the G4 upgrade RUU.
During the flashing progress the Bar on the Phone whent RED a couple of times, it eventually went to 100% (being red for about a minute), once the flash completed the phone rebooted in to the sam old tri-color screen again,.

What do to now??:confused:

did you try to recover the device yet by flashing a NVID ROM before flashing a cooked rom? try downgrading it first before hardSPL.. let me find links for you to read..

Downloaded the Prophet's 2.20.7.34_2.20_7114_02.69.21 Rom
Launched the G4 RUU, and I get Error 260 Update Error ;(

Bad USB Cable (Oups), I flashed the G4 completely (again the progress bar on the phone goes red at times and then green again) once completed it reboots to the same BootSplash (Tri-color) screen without any difference.

did you tried the other USB ports at the rear end of your CPU??

did you tried the recovery prcedures stated on the files i gave you to read?

if you have followed those there should be no problem bro..

try reading them back again and this time carefully...

and before flashing remove battery.. make sure its charged 50% or more... return battery, do hard reset when its on boot loader try connecting USB make sure you see a USB sign on the lower left of your screen... when RUU starts check the upper right corner of the screen of your phone if theres an RUU sign < optional, its just like a USB sign on the lower left of screen>

your phone should work if all procedures have been done...

Well this 'ol PZ I have only have one USB port. I have another PZ but is Vista.
I leave the phone on USB Charge over night so it should have enough juice.
I will go back and re-read the instructions, but this is not my first HTC device... but I may have missed something.

Status report.

Downloaded the file as referred to in the post.
Once I run it, it stops at 80% RED bar on the phone.
On the PC (RUU 2.5.2) it says the following:
Error 326: Invalid Command

This NBF file cannot be used for your PDA phone. Please check your NBF file

What now?:confused:

Download Prophet_PV_Temp and you will fiks it.

Thanks for the tip, I downloaded this ROM, ran the G4 RUU file.
It went through (again with a red bar at times on the device).

The PC said it all went successfully, and the phone reboots to tri-color screen again, SPL and IPL still the same.. DAMN!!:mad:

Any other suggestions or should I just declare it bricked?:confused:

I have the same problem. My imate was G3 ( I learn it after appyling the G4 batch :( ) I need to recover process and files from G4 to G3. I tried to recover by RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_NVID.exe (novendor)


But, On the PC (RUU 2.5.2) it says the following:
Error 326: Invalid Command

This NBF file cannot be used for your PDA phone. Please check your NBF file

Do you have any solutiun or idea???

Hi guys...

Well Here's my story....
I was an Universal guy for about 5 years, and now I find myself stuck with a Prophet....
Don't take me wrong, I realy loved my Uni, and the prophet seems a good phone...
So after using it for a few days, I came back to this forum, and entered the prophet world...
Without spending the minimum time needed to search and learn how to properly upgrade the phone, or even tp know if it was a G3 or G4, I downloaded and flashed my prophet with a new ROM...
All went fine, and I got stuck in the bootloader screen, for about an hour... Then I finally found out how to properly HardReset the device, and now....
Well,... now I'm stuck in the splash "Inovation" screen and nomatter what I do, I just can't enter the bootloader....
After readding a bit...yah I know I should have done that before, and not after... I realize that my battery may be the culprit for not entering bootloader and so I plugged it in to the wall charger...NO charging light came on...

I know I don't need to write the next few words, but here they go...

HELP!!! PLEASE!!!

EDIT:

I needed the SIM card in my prophet, so I took it out, and also took the SD card...
Then I decided to re-try entering the bootloader...and....SUCCESS!!!
Now doing the RIGHT procedures to upgrade my prophet...
