i have a Telus & HTC P4000 tytn.
running
(from boot loader)boot screen)
spl 2.07.0000
cpld-9
(boot screen)
r 3.42.040
d 3.54
(device information)
rom 3.54.661.1
radio 3.42.40
and i want to update my rom to
DCD titan 3.26 with a radio of titian radio rom 3.42.50 and nuespltitan100-2.47-pack
i THINK i have all the files i need
and i THINK i know which order to do them in.
i install the
nuespltitan100-2.47-pack
spl (boot loader) upgrade first
then run the radio rom next ( from a micro sd card right?)
then the dcd titan 3.26 rom last (once again from a micro sd card??)
i am a bit confused and could really use a step by step guide for each upgrade
as im not real sure what could go wrong.
one last inportant point.. on the titan wiki it says to
" Always keep a record of your phone's ESN, MSID, Security, EPST, and M. IP settings in case a flash reprograms your phone."
and i have not found the security or epst m and ip settings (found the others)
and it says
"if it is 1.04, 1.06, or 2.07 then you must unlock your phone and upgrade to 2.40 or 2.47. Olipro 1.20 is not necessary at all when using newer ROMs/Radios."
how do i unlock the phone for the upgrade to 2.47?
( i just cant find any unlock other than http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=332381&highlight=unlock but i think that any spl update is considered an unlock..)
please help me help myself not brick my phone.
