Lol, try changing the theme. Settings => Personal => Today. Make sure you use a 6.5 theme, 6.1 themes can really bugger up the phone.

i'm using a different theme by m.caroll. the glossyblack theme is awesome!! i got rid of the theme that produced that ugly and ... oh never mind. thnks !

Bom dia pessoal ando a procura de uma rom em ptg wm6.5 para o meu htc touch (elf) gostava de saber se alguém tem, ou onde possa arranjar.

just use total commander and open :
\\\registry\HKLM\System\GWE\Menu\BarFnt\Ht-->Change the value to 860 in Decimal Base
