Go to Start-->Run-->type Calc and Check the following... .

2704/50 = 54.08 Works Fine
2704/51 = 53.01960784 Works Fine
2704/52 = Try yourself Doesn't Work

(2704/52=52)

Try these patterns -> 2*2 =4 (try 4/2), 3*3=9 (try 9/3),..25*25 (try 625/25)etc...

The funniest fact is that its not working on Windows Mobile OS too!!!
I tried on my vox :D

Please note: I tried this on Windows XP and on my HTC S710(wm 6.0). May be there is no problem in Vista

omfg....your QI it is 0.3????? loooool

they work fine!!!!

Solve this :P

Well then I'll buy a car for $ 50

But pa to buy this car I will ask Frank to $ 25 and $ 25 to ask Joe.

25 $ +25 $ = 50 $

But it can convince the seller and paid only $ 45, left me $ 5.

50 $ -45 $ = 5 $

On the way to find the house that I asked Miguel lent 3 stories, I am with only 2 stories.

5-3 = 2.

Decided that it is best to go with those $ 2 payable to Joe and Frank ie $ 1 for each one.

I should then $ 24 to $ 24 to Frank and Joe.

24 +24 = 48 $

I find the Miguel later I return the $ 3 it lent.

48 +3 = 51 $ so I asked for $ 50! How is it possible?

I am waiting for possible answers

Hugs to all, hope you enjoy the game.

I havent tried this on WINMO yet, but try to rename a file to aux.* on your desktop
For example, if you have readme.txt try to rename it to aux.txt

Fun

The same is true if you want to create a folder or file called con or prn. It will not let you as these are old DOS era reserved names.

But here's a little trick. You can create a folder called con or aux or prn in the following way (see below). It's also fun to get your friends to do this because if you do the folder will be created but it will NOT DELETE by any normal means. In fact Windows despite showing you the folder will deny it exists if you try deleting it. Below is the method to create such folders - in this case a folder called con on C:

Open DOS Prompt

Enter:
md \\.\c:\con

.... and now you know how to make folders that will not delete.

Mike

Would be interesting to try but how do you delete it later on :D
Change the first letter of the filename with winhex or...

You just had to do it didn't you:D

The program I spoke of is on my PC at work and I forget the name. However, this one will do it:
Unlocker 1.8.7 for deleting the undeletable (and Que PPC!!!) (http://ccollomb.free.fr/unlocker/unlocker1.8.7.exe)

Install it and it will add an unlocker option when you "right click" files and folders. Either that or it will wipe your entire PC - to be honest I can't remember now which it does!:D
Correctly speaking the folders are not locked, but the program has a force deletion for files / folders with no handles and that will do the trick.

Mike

Yes Unlocker rocks. I have found lot of use to it from time to time. Try to play around with it in a virtual machine (with snapshots/undo feature of course) like delete windows folder

Ok Guys my son asked me this one

If a class room has 5 kids in it and 6 leave that class room does one have to go back in so that the class room is empty?

Mmmm.. well an initial thought is that it does not say 6 kids leave the room. So, perhaps 5 kids and a teacher were in the room. So yes, 5 kids leave the room with the teacher (total 6 leave) and so the room is left empty. In this case the answer to the riddle is no.

Mike

That's exactly what I thought...

Although, there is nothing specific about what leaves the room, just that six * leave the room. So it could be that six adults leave the room... :S

That's exactly what I thought...

Although, there is nothing specific about what leaves the room, just that six * leave the room. So it could be that six adults leave the room... :S

And in that case we would still have 5 kids in the room and "one" (regadless of teaher / adult / kid) going back would not make the room empty.

So the answer to the riddle remains "no".

But on paper we have

5 (in the room) -6 (leave the room) = -1 (missing in the room)
-1 (missing) + 1 (returns to room) = 0
0 = Value of "none" thus empty.

In the assumption that we are talking about the same thing (kids).

How do I explain that 6 kids can not leave a room if only five are in there in the first place.

Take my back account as an example.
I can have 500 dollars on it, pick up 600 and have an empty accout.
If i depost or withdraw 100 on that same bank accout its still remains empty

Is the issue that "not empty" implies a posative value ">0"
Empty a none value "=0"

What is then below Empty "<0"
as in I can have a minus value on my empty bankaccout (I owe money) but can't have a minus value in my cars empty petrol tank.
