View Full Version : What's my NEXT phone? Opinions please

I have the titan (verizon) and LOVE it! But I am wondering what my next phone should be. I use mine for GPS (inav), photos, internet tethering, music, flashlight, ebooks, and microsoft apps. Is this the best verizon has to offer at this point, or what should my next phone be? My contract has expired, and I want to upgrade if there is something better, I want the same functionality, but perhaps thinner, sleeker, and more advanced. Any advice on certain model forums would be great.

Wait for the HTC Touch Pro 2... Out late this year - most likely in the fall.

I am waiting for touch pro 2 as well. I am gonna hold on until TP2 goes down for 299 before I make a move. I am sure it will start out for 599 on sprint.

There is already rumor something called superstar project name phone competing with TP2. Sound like it is gonna be SUPER :)

My natural inclination had me look around, the touch pro looks the best at this point, and the touch pro 2 will likely drop the price of the touch pro! Also the touch pro 2 doesn't appear to have a light which is like a lifesaver for me, no flashlight is a huge loss for me, I use it as a flashlight multiple times A DAY!

My natural inclination had me look around, the touch pro looks the best at this point, and the touch pro 2 will likely drop the price of the touch pro! Also the touch pro 2 doesn't appear to have a light which is like a lifesaver for me, no flashlight is a huge loss for me, I use it as a flashlight multiple times A DAY!

doubt the tp would actually drop in price, sure might go on sale but the mogul was still its normal price the day sprint took it off their website for the TP.

HUH? The HTC Titan doesn't have a built-in flashlight either! In less you consider opening up a browser and using it's white background as a source of "flashlight". OOOooh..... you're using the Camera Flash as a flashlight! Right?

The thing I'm considering is buying a used/clean ESN Touch Pro from someone selling them on Craigslist and then activating/flashing that. Used Touch Pros are going for about $240-$300 right now. My contract expires in August so I am considering all options at the moment. The Palm Pre is interesting but I've enjoyed too much WinMo 6.1 and having a phone that really has all my data sync'd.
