It's strange ,i am the only one with SMS working with 23041?
My radio is 1.56

i have your same radio..... but i think that the radio it is not the problem, we can't acces at all to the writing sms window, so will be a problem releated with some rom files, i read something like this in one some days old diamond post, and i remember that users repaired it with some file replacement, but now i can't find the thread in wich are talking about this... sorry

i sudjest to try with a simple, without any other optimization, porting of new 23409 build, and so we will see....

Here the only thing working is compose mms.
New sms or new mail don't work.
Also threaded sms doesn't work, if j click on a message nothing happens.
Maybe is my fault.

Now i daily use my Topaz and Trinity occasonaly in WK , have not time yet to DL and try Tommi Rom and kitchen .

I took Kitchen 23016 copied the new 23041 files into it and cooked. No Changes or Modifications. The following video shows what you will get :D:

from what i saw:
1- looks like a mermaid on the sea :P
2 - memory on 15mb.. around 18 after mymobiler and activesync out? looks low.. but we where waiting for that...
3- main menu can be replaced for quick menu... we could get a gain there, for those who like it
4 - i personaly hate chome/titanium... m2d is the IU for me... ram is the same so no change here
5 - no sms for now... not usable for me :( this seems to be solved on some devices and I hope the solution is the same
bottom line(video only review)
trinity is one of the most worked devices on the forum and webwise(especially french foruns... chanvi rules here)
On my opinion there are two king rom makers... chanvi and tommei and both are not using tryn anymore.
tommei has a awesome, never seen kitchen. I have used wizard, prophet and tryn and 23017 tommei is the best rom i've ever seen...
chanvi has the best software, up to date kitchen and he keeps delivering the latest to out tryn.
If I had a spare tryn and a few "tutorials" from the masters I would cook! my pleasure!
tryn is not dead, polaris, elf have 6.5 23409 and running well! all we need is the perfect rom, and that is chanvi's portability of latest build and software package and tommei's ram/ stableness expertise!

we are a little effort away!(like portugal against denmark today... damn luck :-( )

As a side note: I in NO way wish to take credit for anything in the ROMs I cook. I'm borrowing the hard work of others and putting it together in a way that works for me. They are NOT my ROMs, but just assembling them the way I like. Thanks Chanvi, Tomme45i, Ervius, and Many Others. Without you guys, I would have nothing to cook.

I have uploaded the first SYS with old "Base_Lang_0409" and old .tsk ; you know i use French (040c) version and forget to change 0409 MUI files for COM3 branch ; after this i cook a wwe version with new MUI and forget it LOL , now i have uploaded the good 23401-0409 SYS in first post .

I would like to have some expert opinion on the problem I have with my HTC P3600. Sorry if this is not the right place to post this issue.
since a few days the ear speaker does not work anymore.
I can forward the audio to the main speaker OK. I can use an USB earphones OK. But it is impossible to bring back the audio to the "normal" ear speaker.
I though it was a softare pb so
- I updated Radio ROM to 1.50.08.11 (from 1.46). -> No change
- I changed ROM from FAMAN 1.42 to 1.43 -> No change
- I changed ROM from FAMAN 1.43 to NetDrg 3.5F -> No Change.
No I suspect this may be a Hardware pb and ear spearker may be dead.

What do you think ?

Hi Chanvi, how's the Topaz working out? :)

I am just doing the P3600i conversion for you right now ... any chance you could clue me in on what changes you made to the OEM for Trinity? (so that I can do same for P3600i OEM)

I can see some interesting differences in the RGU's under OEMDrivers ... but it is hard to tell what is just differences in the original device OEMs :confused:

I'm sure I could work it out if I go back and do a file-by-file compare to an older Trinity OEM ... but if you could quickly list the changes that would save me a lot of time :D

Changing themes still make error with new ui, but fix it with 23409 Base_96_DPI and Themes_DPI_96 PNGs from Gene thread here, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=551470, (not fixed one).

FIX (for pixel glitches at bottom of lockscreen):

Edit both LS_Global_240x320.cpr and LS_Global_320x240.cpr and set Top="-18"

By using an earlier build of wm6.5

Those are changes that MSFT have made as part of the whole 6.5.x UI overhaul.

The start button only just moved since the 2304x builds but you will have to go back to about 23027 (or somewhere around there) to get the original topbar.

It does, however it doesnt let you drag. Just do clicks. Click on the card, the click on the destination ;)

Just a reminder that the WM6.1 21042 UltraLite ROM (download link for Kitchen in post 2) works great with Spb Mobile Shell 3.5.

For those who don't know, to get this ROM you need to "select" it using the Kitchen. :

I wil add a little bit more work : I added the dutch versions of almost all programs in your 23001 and your 23003 kitchen.

The EXT-SYS-OEM links are here :



I added them to your languages but I had to change a few of them due to the following problem : in dutch "Program Files" has been translated also so I had to move all references to Program Files in app.dat or regs or links to the language directories.

They are yours to add them to your kitchen, si tu veut.

For the dutch who want to try : just start the erviuskitchen.exe, choose TRINITY in the first line, then 0413 (this means dutch) and then you can choose your version from ultra light to full home-manilla. You can safely exclude transcriber in SYS.

2.there is no file manager
3.i cant open my sd card
4. i cant sync my phone with pc
5.when i want to do anything it connects to internet:confused:
so i want to uninstal wp7 from my hd2 and install wp6.5 on it
