6.1 because is more stable, uses less resources, does not include the SUPER HORRIBLE honeycomb.
Maybe later when 6.5 is more mature....
Or better wait to WM7
Just my 2 cents

I like WM 6.5 because it's the latest & greatest so far from MS. I'll move up to WM 7 when available. I do not like flashing backwards (downgrading)! ;)

I've tried couple of 6.5 ROMs on my BA and Kaiser. I'm not too impressed. One 6.5 ROM was quite quick. However, after using it for a week, I still prefer WM6.1 with the HTC Home today screen.
The windows 6.5 widgets look great. I feel that windows is trying to copy the finger scrolling found on the I-Phone. The fact is, the I-Phone is not nearly as fast to find contact with etc. I can find things a lot faster using HTC Home with WM6.1. I don't even like WM6.1 with Touch Flo or whatever it's called.
I'd like to hear other user comments.

Did you mean the new Programs interface?
I saw some videos, and I don't like it so much... Any chance to replace it with anything else?

Been using WM 6.5 (miri's WM6.5 rom) for my Touch HD for a couple of months now. The latest builds are really fast and stable and I will never go back to WM6.1.

What about program compatibily?
In WM 6.1 (latest versions) there are some problem running TCPMP or other (old) apps....
Is it the same on WM 6.5?
And... Is it possible to have something similar to "M2D Messages Tab" to see our SMSes directly on our Today?

I used versions 11 and 13 of 6.5 but didn't work on my opal, freqvent crashes and slow. Then I installed version 14 of 6.1, so far it is working well.

WM 6.5 is DEFINETELY better, there are lots of improvements and still some to come. I recently wrote a few emails with Loke Uei and I also participated in a discussion with the WinMo team on Facebook.
The new startmenu is maybe not everyones taste, but the new todayscreen is well done (espeically when doing some modding with the help of Xda-Devs ^^), MyPhone, Marketplace will be great and the overall fingerfriendlyness and speed has improved.
@orb3000: What you´re talking about ?!?!? The current version of 6.5 isn´t even an official one yet...so you can´t really compare. And on my TouchPro it is quite fast, responsive and bug-free. You better get a new device...

Yes.
I think it can be replaced

What¿
As said is just my opinion, I know it´s not official yet, but anyway honeycomb for me is horrible, so I won´t use it till final is out and a nice customization appears, I comprare it because is the question on this thread.
Get a new device? I´m on it believe me, but til now not convinced 100% about where to go... I think I´ll wait for 2010 HTC models with snapdragon and for that time hopefuly some better 6.5 will be out there, or even wm7
My Universal is much better than your Touch Pro!:D

I found a way to replace Start Menu with iLaunch or MortButton...
A lot better! :D
Anyway.. Does anyone here know if I can use a tab similar to M2D MEssages Tab?
Cheers...

6.5 is fine by now... xda-devs have stabled it in many ROMS and with the addition of many many mods it looks amazing and has great functionality. The thing is, that you need to differentiate WM6.5 from the Titanium interface.. Titanium is wonderful. WM6.5 is somewhere only a small small upgrade of by microsoft to 6.1. some menu changes.. some bar changes... things are mostly graphical and still do not match to the new behavior of rhodium manila and its additions (such as the start menu and pop up menus)

yes, for sure...;)
The only thing I don't like on WM 6.5 is the Start Menu...
But I found out a way to change it with iLaunch...:D
Do you know any other program similar to iLaunch (free and maybe better!)?

Wm6.1 is better
WM6.5 is not a significant update. i feel only the looks and graphics has been updated no new revolutionary feature.
WM6.1 with touchflo2d/3d is fine...:cool::cool::cool:

I don't think so. You have to go to e,g sbp pocket plus and the install sbp diary to see your sms on todays screen.

Late to the party but after flashing like 10 different 6.5 ROMs in different flavors, I went back to 6.1 stock T-Mobile ROM on my TP2 with regular TF3D. It is the most stable, fastest, and hands down - the most available memory for my phone. I can go weeks without a soft reset or need to clear the RAM. Everything just works great on this ROM.
6.5 has better scrolling of lists and drop-down menus. And a few other nice features. Also, I like the newer Manilla home screen features such as the documents tab and other stuff HTC threw in with the HD2 ROM, but it takes up so much memory! After using it for a while I'm sitting at 70%+ in use with no apps open! In 6.1 I'm always around 50-60% on the high end, with no problems of closing big apps while multi-tasking.
And of course, the horrible start menu. What the heck were they thinking? It's NOT an improvement. I even tried 6.5 with touchflo disabled but the default home screen is useless to me. Gotta have TF3D. Then I tried the jacko hybrid 6.1 with updated Manilla but I had some problems with the ROM and I think the memory usage was still a little higher.
I do like 6.5 but I think it works best on the HD2 or other device with the memory to run it well. It just wasn't speedy for me on the TP2, so I'm sticking with 6.1 or this device.

I´m quite happy with my 6.5.3 ROM with Sense 2.1
With proper tweaks will run very smooth and stable
Sense 2.5 tends to be more heavy for Rhodium
But definitely won´t go back to 6.1;)

i returned back to 6.1... better, faster and stable.
6.5 is more of an eye candy.
