Another Can't-Flash-Rom post. Please help.

I upgraded the ROM to 6.1 awhile back.

Now, I would like to upgrade to the PDAVIET ROM WM6.5 (Core 21502) by TranMinhMan.

However, I'm running into this problem:

I get stuck with the screen showing 4 colors: Red, green, blue. & White.
The red screen saying:
POLA100 MFG
SPL-2.20.OliNex
CPLD-2

Green: nothing
Blue: nothing
White: USB.

& the RUU shows Error 260.
ERROR [260] : CONNECTION
This error occurs when there is an “open port error” before upgrading the CE ROM image.
Solution: You can reset the device and run RUU again. If you still encounter an “OPEN PORT ERROR” again, reset your computer and try again.

I hard reset the phone, reinstalled HardSPL, pretty much did everything but cant get pass that screen.

Replace only the ROMUpdateUtility file from some other previous flashed ROM (which you know it worked) over the existing one in the PDA Viet 6.5 ROM file folder. It should be the same size in all ROM's files (1416k or something) and then try again.

My previous ROM update (6.1) was directly downloaded from HTC 's website, so it's: _HTC Touch Cruise_RUU_Polaris_HTC_WWE_3.13.405.0_radio_sign_2 5.85.30.07_1.59.42.15_Ship.exe

How do I seperate that 1 ROMUpdateUtility?

well...you have to read first the "How to have ..." post at the beginning of this Polaris Upgrading.You have to "Hard spl" your device first etc, etc :( ...tought you've done that already :o after you'll do that it will work much better ;) if you stuck somewhere just post here...:D
