I had the same problem before before I realized that some buttons are kind of stiff when you press them especially the way you have to press them all at the same time. You can try to have someone help you.... you press down the camera and record button REALLY HARD and your friend press the reset button. Hold them all down for a couple of seconds until the options to reboot appear in the unlighted screen.

YES - PRESS REALLY HARD!
That's the best way to break your mainboard or damage your buttons.
