I have tried out quite a few roms on my device, and the new 6.5 beta roms are great... I especially like the start menu.
The only thing is, that I really love M2D! The new titanium plugin is ok, but nothing beats manilla!
So I decided to skin my 6.1 rom with M2D, to give it a 6.5 feel, and this is the result....

hone screen:

scrolling action:

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The apps I used to achieve this effect are as follows...
-Start menu button hook, which allows you to remap the start menu text/or winlogo

-Mort buttons, the most configurable app launcher out there!

-The program I used for the transparent look on the taskbar and menubar is wisbar advance (BTW this is not true transparency, this can't be achieved, believe me I've tried!) You can download a trial here:
http://www.lakeridgesoftware.com/
or do a google search for v.1.xx, which is still available for free on some sites.
If you want to have a transparent slider background in m2d, you have to change the HTCHomeSettings.xml and reinstall with the m2d customizer:

(again no true transparency!)
In the next posts I will explain how I used and skinned these programs to achieve this effect. I'm good at modifying, but I know sh*t about programming!
