Flashing Original ROM from other region

Hi guys,

Do I need to flash the SPL in order to use the English ROM on my Norwegian device? I cannot be bothered to do too much to the phone atm ;)

To simply change the language, there are ways without HardSPL.
If you want to flash a completely different language ROM, you need HardSPL, there is no way around it, sorry.

You have two options.
1. Wait for the Hard SPL
2. Ask cmonex for a Goldcard to flash another ROM

So will a Goldcard let me flash the HTC Asia ROM? And if so will it be in English :) I'm happy to send a donation to someone that can help ;)

Hi,
My Topaz has original french language, and is unlocked (free of provider).
I tried to change the device language in WM6.1 to english by using TopazRUUwrapper;
PDA phone RUU 3,27,4,3
and nbh file
TopazIMG_HTC_WWE_EastEurope_1.39.479.1_Radio_Signe d_Topaz_61.20t.25.10_3.43.25.19_Ship.nbh

I get the 4 colour screen, and the loading starts, but stops at 1%, showing the message:
ERROR [294] : INVALID VENDER ID

Did I make a mistake? :rolleyes:
Can anyone help me to change the language to english?

You can flash any original rom with gold card
