onyx questions

hi guys,

a big thanks to the onyx devs - upgrade on my htc touch/elf worked very well

i think the 6.5 is a good step in the right direction (ie wm to iphone look!)

but it is a shame that the standard plugin that gives all the nice stuff on today screen isnt more configurable :/ ive gone back to the old style today screen as when i change order of items in the plugin (ie disabled some) - when i next added new fave person to list it stopped working! :(

any thoughts or advice?

also im guessing that some older apps dont really work with 6.5 ? seem to get a fair amount of hanging when changing today settings etc :/

just come back to WM after my iPhone broke, dug out old elf and flashed with onyx, seems to work well much better than original rom, but having trouble with the gmail google app for it, it wont auto check for messages. anyone else used it?

Please check out http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=512121 where you can find Windows Mobile 6.5 related stuff; themes, plugins, applications, etc.

There are also applications which you can use to configure several items within Titanium (the 'Windows Default' plugin for Today).

btw: is it possible to set the compact keyboard to open in t9 mode rather than abc mode? always have to press that key :/

spent about 10 mins or so searching for this but cant find it - sorry :(
there was a hint at a reg hack for it, but link didnt go to the right place - search in the faq but t9 didnt come back with anything :/

Q. How do I make my keyboard always use T9 without having to manually set it every time I open a new program (default is ABC currently)?

A. Open registry and set \HKLM\ Software\ Tegic\ eT9\ IME\ CarrierDefaultTextMode to either 1 (T9 always) or 0 (ABC always).
