[UPDATED 20/5] Amazing Taskbar Icons + 1% Battery + 6.5 Skin for ROM'ers :D [Archive]

Ok boys...here u have what some ask me: the new icons for speakers, 100% batery and so...all rebuild for 6.5. Here they are on a cab. Just in case u need them feel free to use. I also included a new skin.

Oh! Guess what? ALSO A NEW WAITING VISTA ICON! FULLY TRANSPARENT ;)

EDIT: Battery % did not work! I have uninstalled it, will try to reinstall it again and try it!

Sweet...which 6.5 rom are you both running. I got bored with the one I had but this is causing some new chills... :cool:

It wouldn't be possible to make a cab for just the wait cursor would it? I like the icons and I love the wait cursor, but I don't like the start menu logo so I guess i'm being picky.....sorry.:p

Can you separate the cab for just theme, just icon, and just wait logo? That way we can choose what we need ;)

Your dialer still is the best one, works perfectly on 6.5 :D

I like the normal windows logo icon. I have the taskbar 6 elite icon set by tsowen and I like the windows orb icon he has on there which I am using now.

The carrier signal bar indicaters are they tshres.96.dll the 4 x .bmp's? been trying to work out for while what to edit for them?

did a real dig and that's searching XDA too and it's not possible on GSM devices of WM6.1 :( "Can change the top icon but not the service bars"

I've changed those in both 6.1 & 6.5. The Bars are part of Shellres.dll where the image above the bar is either shellres or phcanoverbmp. They are actually 2 different images and is why they look wider than the rest of the icons. In Shellres there are 5 bar icons, only 4 are used though in most ROMs.

yup, my topbar is gone too...had to restore phone to get it back to working order. I was just using the icons cab fyi.

Install SDKCerts before replacing the DLL's for the topbar and it'll work...

P.S. It can be found in my MediaFire Folder in my sig or by searching XDA...

EDIT: Also, I believe these were made for WinMo 6.5 and therefore do NOT work in 6.1... 6.5 uses different format icons which are 32bit transparent and 6.1 does not.

Battery percentage probably did not work because of a missing registry value. Certain ROMs use Shellres.dll for the battery icons. The ZIP attached below includes a .reg file that can be imported into your registry with PHMRegistry Editor.

Hey guys,

I installed "DJKoa_Only_Taskbar.cab" since I just need the icons on the bar. The battery, the GPRS and the radio signal icons have been replaced just fine, but the volume and WiFi (when enabled) icons remain unchanged. Any ideas why or how I can get those icons changed as well?

I used your rom and found it too buggy for me, but i was stunned by how nicely it was skinned. I'm so glad you've decided to give these to us. When i've got more time on my hands i plan on cooking these into his rom. Drkfng suggested a way to make it work that i'll try after i'm done flashing. These graphics are beautiful.

Edit: drkfng's cab soultion works!
Is there any chance of you posting your manilla theme to go along with your gorgeous icons?

great job, worked great on pyrorob's 6.5 rom, but won't work on TPC V9, even with sdkcert cab installed..

Strangely, this set of icons that's been working very well stopped working (even after re-installing SDK cert) on TPC's V8 .. any idea?
