China Unicom has finally launched it's WCDMA 3G service.

So I went down to the local shop with my Uni and before I committed to signing up I asked if I could check that it would work on my phone.

I put the relevant settings in for Unicom

It just wouldn't connect via 3G, I fiddled with all the settings that I could find and had no luck. I was just wondering if anyone had any idea of what may have gone wrong, or if anyone has actually got one of these to work on China Unicoms network.

I am using Tommol 8.5

Thanks for the reply

Yeah this was a sample sim chip in the shop that they let people use who want to test to see if their device works. I'm sure it was a 186 number.
