I got a problem with my WLAN... i may tap it till the screen explodes but it doesn't want to turn on... Little charging screen and then when ready it's still off! What can i do?

I have the same problem.. I cannot start wlan in diamond.

I have tried to soft reset, hard reset, flash with 2 different custom rom, flash 3 different radio, flash with stock rom 2.03, but it still not works.

I'll try to switch of my phone tonight and put it in the refigerator for whole night (seems silly but I have no other idea), let see what is the result tomorrow.

i had the same problem. burned motherboard was the technician description when i took it to warranty!

Too bad mine is out of warranty now...
Anyone knows how much normally it is cost to repair this?

This is a very common problem with the Diamond... I think it gets to hot and some important component (or the motherboard) can't handle the heat.

There's another thread regarding this issue here somewhere...

and I feel bored during the lunch time, so I decided to open up my diamond, take off the mainboard, and put everything back again.

Now.. I have my WLAN back... :)

I had the same problem like you: When I turned the WLAN in the Connection Manager on, a waiting cursor appeared and nothing happened.
But when I upgraded my Radio yesterday it worked just like it should and WLAN turned back on.
So I recommend to upgrade to a new Radio version. I went from Radio v1.11.25.01 to v1.15.25.14. Now I have a fast GPS-Lock an my WLAN back :D

P.S. Radio v1.15.25.14 can be downloaded here. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3966853&postcount=787) It's official, so you don't have to be Security Unlocked (SU).
