Volume control button problem

Hi,

I have a problem with the hard volume buttons.

When pressed they function as up and down buttons but with a few seconds delay. I want them to control the volume. I have probable installed some program that messed up the phone but can't get it to work the way I want even after many uninstalls...

Finally I found AEBPlus trial and I do not know what I did but the buttons now works. Afer uninstalling AEBPlus the volume buttons do not work anymore.

Does anyone know of a solution to the problem which does not include AEBPlus? Registry?

Problem seemes solved.

I read about another guy who had the exact same problem and after blaming g-alarm for a while he came to the conclusion that it was an old htcvolumecontrol.dll that what the root cause. I did an update on my taskbar and now it works. :)
