What are the disadvantages of low page pool?

I reduced the pagepool of 8.70TML ROM from 6 Mega to 3 Mega.
The free mem incrased with this 3 Mega, but i am wondering what are the disadvantages of this?

I don't see any changes (negative changes) in the normal usage.

hi the disadvantages of having low pagepool is that some program may not work properly and recommended pagepool is 4~5 mb . so seems like the pagepool is not too low to see the effects... well if it running good there's no problem and we can always go back if anything is not good....:D:D

There was some random soft reset, so i raised the pp to 4,5 mb.

i'll see the result.
