View Full Version : when backlights turn off my device is disconnected

plz help me!!! when i connect my mobile through windows mobile device center it connects perfectly to my pc, but after that in few seconds my backlight turns off and the connection is disconnected..

I have also diabled options like "turn off light after 2 min..."

because of that i couldn't flash my mobile plz help me my model id HTC P 3350

strangely enough, it seems your device goes into sleep mode rather than screen off mode... i suggest trying to flash the rom from your SD card so that you don't need your device to be connected.. and then see if the problem is solved.

you can find information about SD card flashing in the forum.. fitting your specific device

Thanks for replying buddy.. But before flashing the rom from my sd card, should i unlock the cid or not??

If yes, I used USPL for unlocking the cid... As it mentioned in the USPL manual it works perfectly till step 12 (that is my phone screen becomes dark).
Here is the problem starts.. When the phone screen becomes dark, my device is automatically disconnected from my PC.. I wanna know whether I have unlocked the CID..

Since this is the 1st time flashing a mobile i was excited, but due to this problem I am very much frustrated.. Plz help me...

Instead of giving you a wrong advice (:)), i suggest you go to the section dedicated to your device and read the threads dedicated to ROM flashing and exactly what needs to be done in order to flash a new rom.

If i'm not mistaken the HTC Love is actually the same as the Artemis. go to the Artemis section (http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=362) and start readin :)

Trust that after reading exactly how to flash a ROM and what're the preliminary steps to do that.. you'll know everything you need to know. if you have anymore problems after that, come back :)
