I just installed the Google Maps update on my Elf with the Tess light ROM.
Just after Messages were not responding. I reset the phone and Messages disappered from the Today screen. Nether it is in the programs. Furthermore it was not possible to start tmail.exe from the file explorer. The phone does not recieve SMS nor emails.
I uninstalled Google Maps. But it did not help.
Did the Google Maps update mess up the registry database?
Are there other ways to correct the error without flashing the ROM?
