奸商哥哥都跑到这里来了...放心..这次事件绝对没那么简单..
整个中国能刷d2的..不超过10家..

PS:一个地区一个CID..你英文机.不动CID,别想能刷别的语言的ROM..试着在ROM上下手脚. .或者想办法弄USPL去吧..加密卡就别想了..TopazDiag.nbh不是那么容易搞到的.

Hi all.
I order a TD2 with WWE ROM, but I want to use a GoldCard to flash a CHS ROM,because I am a Chinese.
So anyone tell me how to make a GoldCard for TD2?

在expansys买了一台英文版的TD2，想自己刷成简体中文版的ROM，也正是因为目前刷简体中文RO M的技术掌握在少数奸商手里，才在这里求助。

My d2 is CHS ROM by xda-china.
My phone buy from xda-china too.
We can flashing 老麦’s chs ROM.
My d2's SPL is 1.33.1000,This SPL can flashing 老麦’s chs ROM,if your D2's SPL is 1.33.0000,maybe you can't flashing CHS ROM by yourself.
I don't know chinese Businessman how flashing CHS ROM when the phone was not unlock CID.:eek:
Who knows where does the "SPL-1.33.1000" come from.

PS:I'm sorry for my bad English too!:p

not a modified rom.
We have CHS ROM,6.1 and 6.5,but somebody don't flashing this rom,because Their phone's SPL is 1.33.0000,if your phone's SPL is 1.33.1000,your can flashing (RUU) this rom.
Our problem is how flashing SPL-1.33.1000。

Yes，some D2's SPL is 1.33.0000 when your OS is CHS！
but this SPL doesn't flashing other OS。
I think these D2 flishing ROM by goldcard……:rolleyes:

BTW: How to make a goldcard:
Use QMAT to connect to your device (with active sync)
Go to hardware forensics: create goldcard (WinCe SD)
(you need a license though to create the goldcard), done in a few seconds.
Then it's easy to flash any other (Original HTC Topaz) Rom to your device.

Look at the discussions on HTC Dream (G1) for more information regarding QMAT and the creation of a goldcard.

To check if your goldcard is OK:
Plug in your goldcard
boot into bootloader
open mtty (remember not to let activesync intervene).
Issue the following command on mtty:
"set 32" (without brackets)
You should now get some response by mtty:
last lines should be:
SDInit---
SDInit OK
Unlimited time!
g_cKeyCardSecurityLevel = 0 (<---this means that you have unlocked the CID, if it's FF, that means your CID is still locked and your goldcard isn't working.)

If you have an unlocked CID then you can copy the NBH to the SD, call it TOPAIMG.NBH and reboot again into bootloader.
You device recognizes the goldcard, it recognizes the update file and you will be prompted to do the upgrade, it's done in a few minutes.

Nice to know it is done already.
However since it's the cell-shops owner's business, I doubt he will release it.
Releasing probably will cost him revenue.

yes u r right... cell retailers in china is quite powerful that they even have relations with ppl inside HTC and monopoly of hardspl or uspl (whatever u call it). if u know the cell market in china, u will find out that when every new device is out, a few number (usually under 10) top retailers will have the device unlocked and flash hardspl and custom chinese rom into it in a few weeks. by taking this advantage, they will profit like $30 - $100 per device if u r too eager to buy it before a public hardspl release.

Nope, the Hard SPL is the "easy" part. The loading mechanism (the Soft SPL) is the hard part.
This is probably not present anymore on those devices.
(remember that these devices have been flashed after being hard-spl-ed)
Only if it's leaked or released will we be able to enjoy that one.
Is it known WHO made this Hard SPL?

1. Make sure you have made the GoldCard correctly.
2. Make sure you are flashing with a Ship (Stock) ROM.

Note: If you are trying to flash an English TD2 to CHS, then I am not sure you can do it with a GoldCard because I don't think the XDA-China ROM is a stock ROM. It will work the other way around even without the GoldCard (the machine is European version modified to CHS).

I don't know how true this is, I have the same problem, ie. unable to flash my set (flashed to CHS WM6.5 from xda-china). This was what I did:

1. Find out which region your set came from. Mine was WWE from Eastern Europe
2. I downloaded the stock Eastern Europe WWE ROM
3. Flashed it using the Goldcard method
4. I was then able to flash an WWE Asian ROM (or any other stock HTC ROM) to my set, which I was unable to do so previously.

You might want to try this.

I was able to get the "origin" of my set using this link:

Seems that it is not working now. You just have to key in yr serial number and all the info on yr set will be displayed.

Htc Topaz WWE has english language
By flashing RUS rom using gold card all goes right, by finishing and rebooting it says that rom not desighned for this region.
I've tried to disassemble russian rom in QMAT and assemble it with OS only without radio and spl, and it hangs on "loading" in bootloader... I understand, that firmware must be original shipped, or sighned by Htc, otherwise, it wont flash via gold card. Maybe another way to do it? I've found firmware that contains OS only, it flashes via gold card and flashing and works, but i seriously doubt, that Htc done this version (OS only!). You wrote that Rom must be patched to remove region lock. How to do it? Sorry for bad English...
