flashing problem plz help me..

I used USPL for unlocking the cid of my P3350(LOVE)... As it mentioned in the USPL manual it works perfectly till step 12 (that is my phone screen becomes dark).
Here is the problem starts.. When the phone screen becomes dark, my device is automatically disconnected from my PC..Is this normal?

Since this is the 1st time flashing a mobile i was excited, but due to this problem I am very much frustrated.. Plz help me...

Yest it's normal. You will lose the Activesync connection.
Then you have to run the Run update utility that will show next, to uptade your SPL.

thanks for replying Zecanilis, but after that if i run the update utility, i am getting error 260.

this problem happened wid me aswell...i just flashed a ROM couple of hrs back...1stly use XP for flashing ur ROM and yes it is normal tht ur USB connection will be lost, wait for a few secs (10-20) and when the ROM Update Utility starts go ahead wid the wizard and it will flash the ROM
