Any quicker way to exit out of text message?

So I downloaded sbp keyboard, but this part is pretty annoying. I go to send a message, I type, press send, then I have to click "ok" in the top right, then click the x, and of course it lags some. Is this normal?

When I do that, and then get an e-mail and click the icon, it brings me back to the message I didn't X out of.

when you're in text messaging just click start then today. then under drop down task manger x that sucka out. bingo blamo. tis way I do it anyway.
