This is a preview of the WAD2 theme im working on called Windows7

PLEASE dont reply with this is incomplete or do this do that, the theme is not fully finished!

Enjoy it at your own will.

Common problems: Start menu items may need to be remapped (i made apps for my purpose, follow the procedure to make your own)
Lock device window shows for a few seconds when unlocking the device but dissappears after a few seconds.

This is not fully functioning nor is it usable for everyday use.

Copy Windows7 to Wisbar Directory and Windows_7 to root of 'Internal Storage'

Thank you for you reply, WAD2 is completly customizable to your need. ok its not like touch flo or titanium but those were done by proper developers such as HTC and microsoft. WAD2 is maybe alittle old yes but updates are being brought out to improve funcionality and update user needs

Minimum requirements upto now is just a VGA device with Wisbar Advance Desktop 2 installed which can be found from link (http://lakeridgesoftware.com/products/pocketpc/WisBarAdvanceDesktop/)

don't get me wrong ether but your opinion about wad2 is from someone that really don't know what he is talking about.

Why don't you explore at least from 1 min the new wad2 features and then talk!!!

If you don't have expertises to make wad themes then that's a different story but consider wad2 an old software is absurd.

It is in fact the most powerful UI on market.

Im kinda working on this around my social life
may take 2weeks may take alittle longer.

The main thing is, the start menu is done and the active window (documents, music etc) templates are done, just a few modifications and they also should be complete

Agree that WAD2 is the best UI out there,,,

I have gone through Cube Flo, TFT3D, Titanium, SPB MS 2/3.0, and I still think that WAD2 is the best customizable UI.

In page 1 I found someone saying that this theme is not user friendly,,, I don't think so,,, It is user friendly, but imho, it is not finger friendly,,,

for all you guys you just need to resize the pictue to 50%... as Qvga has resolution of 240X320 comparing to 480X640 of VGA ...

as this theme is part of Ui wisbar advance desktop 2... it should work on 6.1, 6.5 as well but only VGA....

well i mean if you can install WAD2 in the 6.5 then it should work as it is just theme of WAD .... i think 6.5 support all 6.1 softwares (as far i know) so should n't be any problem at all...
so it should run on wm5,6,6.1&6.5

I think that it would be that difficult to port this. I remember seeing something for Paint.net where you can do multiple edits. So you could run all of the files through it and it would just take someone compiling it.

Yeah i can see what your saying, i appreciate the support. I guess its a shame because i would like people to be able to change the wallpaper but either way i lose, i either lose the blur effect in the windows etc which will make people happy but wont resemble windows 7 fully or i keep the blur and people moan because they cant change the wallpaper

Yeah this would be difficult, not a problem resizing the images because theres a few apps i have heard (not sure which ones) which does this but there is way too many scripts upto now im no were near complete.

At the moment its running smooth but im sure its going to run alittle slower sooner or later as im probly only 20% complete.

well as far i know there is only one phone with 1000mhz processor and that is toshiba G1 so u mean to say it won't work on other devices ???? sorry but it works perfect in any device even the one with 64mb ram and 520mhz processor... it will work smooth in that as well....

I never said it will not work. From my point of view it seems to me that you used paint to cover some of the texts that appear on each windows box because there seems to be 2 different colors on each windows box where the texts appear. My conclusion is...the screenshots are photoshopped

Yes it's photoshopped without it we can not make real vga screen... i guess there is no laptop or computer running with 640 X 480 pixcel screen to take screen shots... and beside that we need buttons to make the theme work which we need to photoshop to make......

I've been excited since I saw this, but I gave it a shot and don't seem to be having much luck.

I've got a Sprint Touch Pro running Juicy8 (WM6.5 ROM).

I'm using WAD2 v. 2.2.4.5 and set the Windows 7 theme as the default theme for Portrait and this is all I see:

If I slide it to landscape, it loads the landscape theme just fine... but so far this doesn't really seem to work.

By Internal Storage I figured you meant the root level of the device, so there is a folder there called Windows_7 right now.

Thats because your storage location is called 'Storage Card' not 'Internal Storage'

To solve this make a folder on the root of your device called 'Internal Storage' and copy the Windowss_7 contents in there

no wad2 doesnt support this feature unfortunatly

Its a replica of windows7, This is purely just for aspethics rather than useful.

Like i stated the theme is no were near completed, in the final release or in an updated release there will actually be icons there

Hi there you need WAD2 to use this theme.. which you can download from HERE (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=530269) and remapping means replacing programs that you use mostly with the one that is already there... or you can look at this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=530269 ... it has simple programs hopefully which you don't need to remap :D:D:D:D
