The question is: Is it better than Opera 9.5? I tried it before and didn't like the way it renders webpages. Used Picsel for a while, but found Opera to be the best for my needs.
Thanks for the info regardless.

Hi enigma
well i personally like Mach 5 as web browser it does everything... fast and uses less memory than IE6 or opera, supports flash and the best thing is you can watch them in full screen. give it a go and hope you'll like it...

What version of Opera do people have working on their Uni? I have 9.51ß build 2723. I've got 1.4MB on Flash Disk (or could go on SD) and 375k in main memory.
How have others managed to configure Opera, and does it gobble up all available memory?

Can you point the right link to that version please?
I also will add it to the thread "All Opera Mobile versions thread"

Rajiv,
Mach5 is not bad. It certainly is going to give Skyfire a run for it's money - especially as Mach5 supports VGA - yes!
The only thing is I wonder how much they will be selling it for, once it's out of the trial stage?

Sorry orb, I can't remember where I got it from. I think it must have come from the Uni forum somewhere! I was expecting it to see in your list!
I re-did the opera.ini file myself to get it working on the FlashDisk :D. I haven't created a cab, but simply unzip "Opera 9.51ß b2723 [fd]" to the FlashDisk and "Opera 9.51ß b2723 [m]" to main (\) after flashing or hard resetting. Then create link to OperaL (also attached - remove .txt extension to use). To lower main memory use, delete the widgets folder if you don't use them.

Hi Orb,
I don't know why I couldn't upload... I had tried several times. The file was less than 4MB.
Anyway, please find here (http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=f70751f300c8ebe47432d3c9683f450adc66052d 6a522449ce018c8114394287)
