The official ROM is flashed. but the cookies ROM is not work. I think the Microsoft SECURITY from wm6.5's SPL is better than wm6.1's SPL. isn't it?

I have downloaded the Topaz-HardSPL_V5_00R5.exe and SSPL-Manual-TopazV5_01.zip.
First, I have run SSPL-Manual-TopazV5_01 on my phone.
After that, I tried to do automatic SPL but I had a message telling that this is not my first SPL. (and it was the first time that I try it and it is supposed to be free).
When trying manual SPL the process is always not completed.
The SPL is never done!!!!
Please help.

and I wanted to change it to 2.16.415.3 (arabic support)

Disable your Anti Virus and run the HardSPL executable. It will be OK there is no problems.

Yep, no virus found, is a false positive. Don't worry, this is because HSPL code works with some routines similar to some kind of viruses. It's normal, this is not a conventional program.

Try lastest official one, (SPL 2.51 and WinMO6.5), and check your USB cable or your USB ports.

I just did a hard reset, but still it isn't responding (after the last step of the manual process). But it got the right version from the device though...

The automatic process fails to run.


Edit: I tried to run it on a 3rd pc, and there it went without any problems. Strange, but solved! :)

yeah, it doesn't support proxy, sorry, if you absolutely cannot find another internet connection, then let me know (via the ticket system or email, but ticket system would be much preferred) and I can find a solution for you. (you do not have to pay but donation is much appreciated.)

I used HSPL first time worked fine and then ask me to Donate which I did. I Donate $6. Then I am trying to HSPL another phone for my Wife. It error saying it is non-commercial version.... etc. so i gave up on other phone and waited for few days and tried again(even thought after donation it suppose to be instant). Again same result non-commercial..... then I contected O*@gmail.com today, no responces yet.

I even put a ticket to send unlock code to htc-unlock website and created ticket, mY first ticket i can check status for few days and then after 3 days now website says authentication error. I submitted another ticket still waiting for answer on that as well.

I am not sure where else I can post or email regarding this issue so i am posting here. If team is looking at this thread please help and let me know what I am doing wrong. I needed to hspl 2 other devices.

I was wondering if someone could help me out. I have followed the instructions on how to flash Hard SPL but it will not work for me. I have tried it on 4 different computers and used 3 different cables to no avail. I've tried it in automatic mode, manual mode, and Custom RUU. I've used the enablerapinew cab, and the SSL Manual file you put on the phone. Still not working. Using the automatic mode, I get an error box saying something about not having a connection. But I do since active sync is connected. If I try the manual mode or Custom RUU, it hangs on 0% on the progress bar. I upgraded my device SPL from 1.83 to 2.51 (both Olinex) and my TD2 didn't loose any data neither require to flash the ROM again.

The upgrade process was very simple and straight forward.

You can use this HSPL for MFG ROM, but I suggest going to 2.51 for the latest compatability.

Make sure you can access the internet while on AS. Make sure "Allow connectivity while sync'd" is enabled.
The error you get with the auto installer is because its trying to connect to the Unlocks site to verify your IMEI# to check for commercial use.
If it is unable to connect to the internet, it will fail.
Other than that, you have followed the steps correctly.
It just doesn't work for some.... and you'll have to wait for a reply to your ticket.

i dont know if this will help anybody but i just spent an hour trying to do this. ive flashed custom roms before without a problem on 4 different phones that i can recall. i was having trouble, even donated, until i fully set up a partnership in activesync. in other words, the automatic option did not work with phone syncd as guest. damn i felt relieved and dumb at the same time :) you guys deserved the donation for all your efforts anyway. great job guys.

I'm a little foggy when it comes to setting up a partnership with Active Sync. How do I go about this? Is it partnered when you connect the device and it syncs your files and stuff? If this is the case, I have tried updating the Hard SPL doing it this way also and still no dice. I'm beginning to think that this Pure is unlockable.

Hi guys,
i got my TD2 two weeks a back and i upgraded it to windows mobile 6.5(middle east) the rom version is 2.16.415.3 and radio is 4.49.25.17. now i need to hardspl my device to install some cooked roms. my problem is when i tried to hardspl my device with OliNex, it goes in to a black screen and windows mobile device center showing device has been disconnected. RUU also showing an error message saying usb cable is disconnected from the device.
i tried this several times and same thing happened. please help me regarding this because i'm new to this forum. thanks in advance.

Soft reset and check your SPL in bootloader.
If it didn't upgrade, just try again or use the CustomRUU.exe to flash.

Just to clarify, it is normal for AS to disconnect when device goes into bootloader, but USB should stay connected.

I already tried the manual method; copied the exe file (SSPL-ManualTopazV5_01) to my mobile phone and executed it. It than goes to the tricolour screen, than i opened Topaz Hard SPL on my pc and used the manual Flash. The bootloader freezes, and i get a error 260 Connection. The usb cable is still connected... Anyone else who can help????

hi what do i have to do if i have 2.51 Stock SPL ? I had to recently send in my TD2 for a display issue and i got it back now with 2.51 SPL and a Stock ROM. What do i have to do to install HardSPL without bricking it? Directly 251 HSPL? Thanks for answers (please no assumptions, i would like to have a reliable answer, which was already tested, i dont want to brick it x).

and what happens if i have to lock it again for warranty issues (is there any 2.51 stock spl available?!)

Sorry, I should have specified, have you tried flashing from SD card or with Custom RUU.exe?
Have a look here (http://www.htc-pure.com/htc-pure-reviews-and-video/flashing-hspl/) for complete flashing guide.
If/when all else fails, open a ticket as instructed.

cmonex, just wondering if you had a chance to look at my ticket. #418277. Can't seem to get this Pure to flash Hard SPL. Automatic won't work at all. Same with Manual. I think you have never been able to see the TriColor screen while unlocking, right? Try entering TriColor screen manually (Power On + Vol Down), and then plug the USB cable until you see the word 'USB' on the TriColor screen, and finally use Manual mode to unlock it. Good luck!

Thanks for your reply but you're wrong, I have seen it multiple times! As I wrote, the flashing process never has exceeded 0% and as I stated further, I already tried an update from SD-card that requires the procedure you describe.;)

But finally I managed the update to 1.83 and afterwards to 2.51 using my PC with a fresh installation of XP. Maybe something in Win 7 blocked the internet or PC to phone connection, although anti-virus and firewall programs were reduced to a minimum.

For all struggling with similar issues, just try it under XP (don't forget to install active sync) or at least on another PC, if available.

cmonex, just wondering if you had a chance to look at my ticket. #418277. Can't seem to get this Pure to flash Hard SPL. Automatic won't work at all. Same with Manual. Manual hangs at 0% on the progress bar then times out. Automatic will just say something to the effect that there is no connection (which I clearly have).

@Djomma, Please remove your IMEI# as it can be used to clone your device.

While wating for a response to your ticket, you can go here (http://www.htc-pure.com/htc-pure-reviews-and-video/flashing-hspl/) and try all steps.
You may have already tried them but missing one step will mean an unsuccessful flash.

I then downloaded SSPL-Manual-TopazV5_01.zip, copied the contents to my phone (storage card) and ran it from the phone. The phone hung. Tried twice and it hung both times. Then I downloaded enablerapinew.cab, copied it to the root of my device, installed it, rebooted the phone and tried to install HSPL. Same error.

Sorry, I misquoted the file name, these are one and the same but a definite precursor to attempting to install HSPL.
You may want to have a look here (http://www.htc-pure.com/htc-pure-reviews-and-video/flashing-hspl/) for alternative flashing methods.

Ok guys........ total newbie here..........but I tried flashing HSPL on my HTC Pure.

One word – SUCCESS!

It took a total of 10 seconds….no errors.

Notes:
1. I had to disable the antivirus [McAfee, it kept saying that there is a Trojan in the exe]
2. I also had to make sure that McAfee does not automatically enable itself
3. I ran the installer inside the Topaz-HardSPL_V5_00R5_183HSPL.zip.
4. It ran without any errors and within 10 seconds I had SPL 1.83
5. Then I upgraded to 2.51 using the SD card method. That too was flawless!
I went into the boot loader mode to make sure that my SPL was really 2.51 and 1.83 each time.

I can't download this hard-spl file. When I try to download it, my F-Secure says it has a virus (Gen:Trojan.Heur.GM.0160401132). Then F-Secure deletes the virus from the zip-package and corrupts the package. When I try to extract the zip-file it says it's unknown filetype.

Is there any other download link or any other solution? I really don't want to stick with the stock rom and I can't flash any other rom without this hard-spl!

Why don't you just disable your AV as stated in the instructions?

I recently acquired a HTC Touch Diamond2 and I'm willing to hard spl, same as I did with my Fuze, but before that I have some questions to make.

1 - I couldn't completely understand how to flash the latest version of HARD SPL. The only Topaz-HardSPL_V5_00R5 attached has the label 183HSPL, so I think its not the 2.51 version. Should I unzip the Topaz-HardSPL_V5_00R5_183HSPL.zip and the update_to_251.zip, put them in the same folder and run CustomRUU?

2- How does the license thing work? I've already opened a ticket, but didn't receive anything yet. Do I have to pay for that, or it will be free? I only have one phone, so I think it will be free, as mentioned on post #1. Is there any risk to get the "COMMERCIAL USAGE" ERROR, mentioned in the ticket email?

3- I don't have an Internet plan in my SIM card, will I have problem entering the license, or the mentioned INTERNET ACCESS is related to the Personal Computer?

1) You'll need to start by flashing 1.83 using the attached Topaz-HardSPL_V5_00R5 and after that you'll be able to upgrade to 2.51 whether by SD flashing or downloading the CustomRUU and using it.

2) From what is written in the first post, you should be able to just use the auto flasher right away since this your first device. However, quite a few people here (including me) had issues with the flasher falsely reporting that it's not the first device. If that happen, you would need to open a ticket (which you mentioned that you already did) and wait till they get around to read the ticket and do some server side changes to allow you to HSPL your device with the autoflasher.
Paying (donating) is not supposed to be obligatory for non commercial uses but it is supposed to make things go faster for you.

3) As you might have guessed from (2) that won't be an issue at all, you'll only need an internet connection on the computer you're using.

Hi! One week ago has bought new HTC Diamond 2, on it at once stood last version rom (2.53.411.3), radio (4.49.25.91), SLP (2.51), yesterday has solved it rom update, has tried to establish HardSPL 1.83 (has started Topaz-HardSPL_V5_00R5.exe), but it is not established.
The fitter is started, installation process goes, writes that all was established, but after reboot I see that remained former SLP 2.51.
Tried to start on a device SSPL-Manual-TopazV3_05.exe but it tightly hangs, helps only SoftReset. Prompt what to do please.

i tried to reflash to SPL183000, so i downloaded the Topaz-StockSPL183_NBH.zip and renamed the RUU_signed.nbh to TOPAIMG.nbh. Then i flashed it with my sd card, but now i get the tricolor screen every time i boot followed by a white screen with 'Loading...' and nothing happens :confused:

What happens when you try to flash hspl again? Does it fail with an error or does it ask you to open a ticket/donate because you previously unlocked a device?

You can't flash a Leo ROM to a Topaz. :rolleyes:

Today I decided to try flashing the Hard-SPL without having my ticket answered yet.

Fortunately everything went really fine. I didn't have problems with the COMMERCIAL USAGE ERROR, I just followed all steps from the post #1.

For people like me, that are thinking its necessary to have the license before flashing it, I suggest you to give it a try and see what happens. Probably the error just occurs to some people, not to everyone.

To upgrade from 1.83 to 2.51 I used this CustomRUU (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=492928). During the installation, it stuck in 0% for some time while my Win 7 was installing one driver for HTC Modem (I think it's related to the CustomRUU). After completing installation the process reached 100% and it was installed successfully (I entered in the bootloader screen to make sure).

The Hard-SPL really does the job. I've already flashed a custom rom and its working fine.

Seems like a mod moved your post to the right place already.
As for your issue, it's an easy answer and I'm surprised you didn't notice it already.
From the instructions in the first post (italics, baldness and underlining added for emphasize):

2) you must Have Phone Synced with PC in Windows Mobile!!! and it must not be in Flight mode (i.e. radio should be on). ;)

It confirms all what I knew and read on this matter.
Of course, the IMEI is stored on their side to prevent you to flash many phones.
Personally, I'm not very confident when I see all the messages of people stuck with their ticket with no answer for such a long time.

Hey guys, im posting it finnaly.. I'm trying for ages to get my T-Mobile MDA Compact V aka HTC Topaz / TD2 flashed with Hard-SPL.. I tried so many versions and packages that i lost the count.. Perhaps anyone here can help me, most versions don't even bring me in the Tri-color screen or black screen.. They just fail.. Well first things first, info about my device:

I'm afraid you're in the same boat as most of the people waiting here. You're supposed to open a ticket on htc-unlocks.com and wait till Olipro or cmonex looks into that ticket and license you to flash your device.
You'll find all the information you need by browsing (or at least searching) throw this thread.

hm, the wording could be bad, you'd have to kill Olipro for that :) it is not mandatory, it's just an immediate way to get the Hard-SPL.

I'm not too concerned about IMEI myself but I think La_Globule would find this to be good news.

Also, the reason we're nagging so mush is that there have been no words lately from you or Olipro for a while and no signs of action either here or in any of the other devices' hspl/unlock threads. So we aren't sure if we are waiting for something that will happen or just uselessly wasting time.

But just my luck, I get the message "Server appears to be down...". My firewall is off and my connection is working perfectly so here's hoping the server will be up soon...

Seems like my ISP's DNS servers were having issues I bypassed that and now 1.83.OliNex has been flashed and updated to 2.51.OliNEx successfully and easily.
I hope that all the other who were waiting (even longer than me) receive their replies soon.
I don't know how to express my gratitude.

Anyone here have any feedback on 2.51 (I see many people are having issues, sorry about that)?

I unlocked a few months ago, to 1.83. I just ran the upgrade to 2.51. Upgrade went fine, but I had no signal at all. Looks like the upgrade may overwrite the radio, even though the instructions don't seem to mention that. I reflashed the radio and now it seems to be working again. Might not hurt to add that reminder to the instructions.

Seems like there might be better performance with 2.51 as well. I now get 5 bars instead of 1 at my desk. *However* - they're also constructing a cell right above my head (literally, AT&T is putting a cell in my employer's building because there are many VIPs with iPhones and iPads with poor service), and that was supposed to come online this week, so it might be a coincidence.

Just up-dated HSPL to 2.51 using the SD bootloader method. Totally painless and easy. Took all of about 10 seconds. ROM and other data unaffected. Look forward to flashing new ROMs in the future.

ive got 1.83 on my TD2
i did the SD card method.. but in vain.
i did all that i had to do.. that is, copied the file into the ROOT.. renamed it to TOPAIMG.nbh
i went into bootloader mode..waited a few seconds to press the power button again (to start flashing of course) but then a message which lasted for like less than a second said "No file.." popped..i cant remember if there was anything left in the message..
am having some problems with my pc.. so i dont really want to take the risk to do it using the CustomRuu.
any help please?

Had some issue with the ol' anti-virus software, but a swift kick to the nads and some reconfiging on my watched folders and i was good. No issues at all.

Run HSPL directly and choose the auto flash option. IF you get an error that you already flashed another device THEN you'll need to open a ticket.

i had some issues at first. i dug around and found this file. the file "enablerapinew.cab" fixed my sync issue.

It's been discussed before. There is NO virus. It is the way that the program was compiled that is throwing up the false positive.

Yes, that is a correct order. The only important thing is relocking SPL last because once you do, you won't be able to flash stock ROM or radio.

Disable your antivirus before running the flasher.

Yes, I tried contacting Olipro via email on the 21st with no reply as of yet. Also several weeks ago I PM'd cmonex. I also opened a new ticket (#530496) hoping I could spark some sort of response to no avail so far.

Please make sure the device is still plugged in and synchronized to the pc and also the radio is turned on

then when I press ok says to install that cab file which i did but it did not help, it is certainly synchronized to the pc but I am not sure if the radio is turned on how do I turn the radio on then I will try again, thanks

If you are using the TF3D interface, go to the settings tab, communications. If not then, Start, Settings, Connections, Wireless Manager. Verify that the Phone setting is turned on. This is the radio.

You may need to make sure you have admin privelages on the computer and also disable you firewall and antivirus programs.

I do have tf3D but I have no communications in the settings page, but in wireless manager the phone is on, its as if when ever I try to update it the phone goes into standby and it should not be doing that because I have gone into the power settings i turned them both off:confused:

I notice in the sync information when its synced and im updating the phone the status goes to disconnected and the phone ges to standby if i put it back out of standy it still stays disconnected, this happens with any kind of update and other roms, any help please?

It depends on which region, which time, which provider you got your phone.

Not sure if I understand your question.

Anyway, in the Topaz radio thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=547276) you find all radio ROMs that are available, including the 3.45.25.22 (HTC is the official one, ATT is one for USA)

wow so easy, make folder and put Topaz_CustomRUU_v1.1, and update_to_251...and start flashing, and do not even need an SD card...

You don't need to keep nagging till someone answers you, it's the opposite actually, the more you nag the more people will ignore you because it's annoying.
Why don't you at least explain what you're trying?

Their false positives are annoying. I was really lucky that I only had to wait for a couple of weeks. Tried contacting olipro or cimonex? My ticket was answered soon after I asked them for some kind of estimated time as to when they're going to check the pending tickets.

N yes after downloading all those files... I could not open them.... error msg was that the file is corrupt. In fact my AVG anti virus detected Topaz-HardSPL_V5_00R5_183HSPL as trojen virus :(.

C'mon, you HAVE to read a little before trying such a modification or you are sure to kill yor device!
Yes, AVG picked it up as a virus, that's why it states in the instructions to : Ignore the AV warning (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=3857373&postcount=2)....
You first load HSPL 1.83, then 2.51 then once sucessful, you can flash the ROM.

How do I load HSPL 1.83, I tried SPL 133 coz i thought i'll update it to 183 n finally to 251 but after opening i got this msg Cannot execute "C:\DOCUME~1\Sandy\LOCALS~1\Temp\Rar$EX00.625\Topaz SPLRelocker_SPL133.exe"

I tried to copy that file to ma storage card but that didnt help me either...

hello all,
I´ve hard reseted my phone 6 months ago.
My screen is starting to be broken.
Now, i want to send it to warranty, instaled the new rom directly from HTC.
Did the relocker 1.33... all went fine!
The phone restarted after it, with no problem at all!
Then Restarted the phone, with the volume Key down, to see if it was successful... and bum! the phone gets stuck in the OS booting! HTC screen with the Radio, Rom, Etc version!
Now how can i reverse it? or solve it?
Can you help me?

The SPL version on the bootloader screen is SPL 1.83.0000, so no OliNex.
When I try to update HardSPL following the instructions given here in the forum it says ".....bla bla bla commercial use...." as if I tried to use for more than one phone...

Any way to solve this?

I wanted a colleague to upload a new rom but when you upload a "Topaz-HardSPL_V5_00R5_183HSPL" comes to the percentage scale and n is 0% and does not want to move turned colorful stripes and there he is SPL-1.83.0000 The two kompach checked and nothing
How do I unlock it?

here's some info I'm sometimes going to be repeating for those who don't read back everything (which is okay, too many posts).

1) no point in contacting us in every possible way... XDA PM is definitely NOT a good way, as it is so troublesome with all the reply time out limits. email is somewhat better (but only mine, Olipro is not going to deal with such emails) BUT the ticket system is the best so please use that.

also, don't post the ticket # here, unless your ticket is over a week old, that's when it could mean it got skipped accidentally (closed, whatever), otherwise if less than a week, it could be just a little processing delay.
if your ticket is definitely older than a week since the last reply (or no reply at all), then you can post its # here (not in PM though!!!).

Yes, I tried contacting Olipro via email on the 21st with no reply as of yet. Also several weeks ago I PM'd cmonex. I also opened a new ticket (#530496) hoping I could spark some sort of response to no avail so far.

checked ticket # just to be sure - seems fine (right? you got the reply, yes?).

I'm not too concerned about IMEI myself but I think La_Globule would find this to be good news.

Also, the reason we're nagging so mush is that there have been no words lately from you or Olipro for a while and no signs of action either here or in any of the other devices' hspl/unlock threads. So we aren't sure if we are waiting for something that will happen or just uselessly wasting time.

Got a reply concerning my ticket from cmonex! Thank you!
But just my luck, I get the message "Server appears to be down...". My firewall is off and my connection is working perfectly so here's hoping the server will be up soon...

Seems like my ISP's DNS servers were having issues I bypassed that and now 1.83.OliNex has been flashed and updated to 2.51.OliNEx successfully and easily.
I hope that all the other who were waiting (even longer than me) receive their replies soon.
I don't know how to express my gratitude.
And again, I apologise for nagging this much but I think you understand the reasons for doing that :p

update to 2.51 package doesn't contain customruu file...it only has ruu signed.nbh which can not be installed by activesync...
if anybody has hspl2.51 activesync installable file please upload it...

Just takes a simple search....
Place the .nbh in the same folder that you unzip this file to and run via AS, but name it back to RUU_Signed.nbh first.

I either get a communication error, or else it goes all the way thru bootloader screen and sits at progress bar forever. I even tried some of the white screen solutions and nothing seems to work. I have done this before on my first Topaz. Should I be using Olinex 1.33 or HardSPL V5 00R5?
Can you go straight to SPL 251 on a fresh install?

no u can't flash 2.51 olinex directly as per instuctions...you have to flash HardSPL V5 00R5 first and then 2.51 olinex......after flashing HardSPL V5 00R5..extract 'update to 2.51' file and any customruu file to same folder and now u can flash update of hard spl......

As explained in the very first post, and in other previous posts many times so far, you should open a ticket on htc-unlocks.com so that they can unblock your IEMI.
