Get Tri Colored Screen Invalid Model ID HELP!

I have tried everything to try and get a new ROM on my AT&T TIlt. Everytime I get the tri colored screen, it goes to 1% then reboots and software says Invalid Model ID. I have tried HardSPL with no luck. Been working on this for 2 days now!! Any Help would be great

have u put Super Cid on your device as the rom your flashing otherwise has to be a certain rom

Ni I haven't put on Super CID. Trying to upgrade from 6.1 to 6.5

have you used the same company for the wm6.1 rom as your wm5 rom?

No, I got the 6.1 ROM from the HTC site.

i take it you are trying to flash a cooked rom from the chefs on this site, the htc rom is an official rom and works without being super cid the cooked roms usually need to have Super CID installed on the device, there is more information about Super CID on the wiki which wouldnt do any harm to read.

I don't know, I think I'm an idiot. I just can't seem to get a 6.5 version to work. Tired everything the WiKi says. Everytime it just goes to 1% and reboots. I was able to get this ROM installed. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=401110 I really wanted the 6.5 but don't think I'm smart enough to get it installed. LOL

umm maybe its because that rom is a kaiser rom so im guessing ur device is a kaiser so you need to see the thread for that device

What ROM are you trying to flash onto your Tilt? If you're trying to flash a Hermes Rom onto your Tilt....................?? no wonder you have "Invalid Model Id"
