Ok.... I have had my Tilt for a year & 1/2... My (then) 14 y/o son became very envious of my phone... We are not a "rich" family and my son saved up for months and finally could afford the phone last year... He bought it 100% on his own, as well as pays his own prepaid AT&T Go minuites for it....
About 6 months after he got it, we got the typical USB problems... We worked around them by syncing via Bluetooth, and buyign spare batteries as well as a stand alone battery charger.. Everything worked great until this week... Tuesday night, it said the Sim was not there... I tried the placing tape on the back of it, and that didn;t seem to help... tried a few other things I read, nothing seemed to help except when we first booted up the phone with it the keyboard slid out... As long as we didnt; close it, it would work (Atleast for TXTing)... But even that was sketchy at best... since then that stopped working completley, and as of lastnight the touchscreen died... Any suggestions at all? Please don't tell me to go search for answers on google... I have already looked.. If there is no hope, please send cash offers if you are intersted in buying it...
