Tilt Backlight Fix

So I've tried every trick in the book. The official HTC fix, various cabs, registry edits, and Kaisertweak. And my backlight has always shut off after 10 seconds. Finally I found something that works for me: By running IM+ in the background (with the prevent automatic shutdown option enabled), my phone stays on with no timeout. I know many people have found different fixes that work for them. But as I've seen many people still don't have a fix. So perhaps some guru here could extract the code that makes that IM+ program work and put it in an exe that can be placed in the startup folder?

I had the same problem, my fix was to install the latest .NET Compact Framework 3.5 Redistributable (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=e3821449-3c6b-42f1-9fd9-0041345b3385&displaylang=en). Hope it helps someone else.

S2U2. With the stock "device lock" program, my phone reverts to ten seconds for the back light every time I lock it.

S2U2 for whatever reason causes my phone to adhere to whatever option I choose for the the back light.
