No incoming call name

On one of my friend's Tytn II,..there is this problem of no caller name/number displayed.

Whe he gets a call the display shows "incoming call" instead of say "John 99874646.."

What could be the cause ?

i had that problem and cant see call history. solution to me was in NEW dialer i had vista dialer intaled it and it runs with no probs. good luck
