First it is not the screen, the screen is fine. i recently had the issue that everyone seems to be having, so I bought a used tilt for $50 it was pretty tore up, but the screen was in perfect condition, well i took apart both tilts as you can see in the pictures , notice my third tilt in the charger. Well the new screen didn't work either , but the both worked on the other one , so I figured out the the problem is the Main Flex Assembly Cable with Outer Keyboard Mylar as pictured below by itself and with screen attached, I was at work (Pediatric ICU) and the reflection on the screen is a painted ceiling tile, so the screen is fine so I just switched out the assembly cable from the other phone and put it on my phone, both screens worked fine. So don't go and by a new screen if this is your problem, though these assembly cables are expensive as crap too. I just wanted to get mine up and running until ATT gets the New TILT PRO or TILT II (Touch pro 2) then I'll be getting one of those bad boys. I hope this helps out.

Again its NOT the screen. Everyone keeps im'ing me about which screen to get, its The Flex Assembly Cable that is broken. Its the cable that runs from your screen to your main motherboard, and as you can imagine, all the opening and closing of the keyboard eventually can wear it out or just catch the wrong way one time damaging the part of the cable, which is why the screen looks perfectly fine, but the ouch sensory doesnt work at all.
