Ya. I just noticed that too (since i do not use mms at all). That option is not available while creating a message.

This was corrected in ver 1.3. after installing ver 1.3 hard reset the phone.

Yes! I hard Reset the phone and now it's working fine!

There is 2 other thinks, I cant remove the Message Sent notification that always come when texting, and also I went to change my alerts, and once you enter the notifications and sound area, the "standard" new msg alert sound becomes no longer available, and the list of sounds for selection is very restrict, although if you go to the ringtones selection, you have a pretty vast array of options.

Any tips on how to select any sound as an New email, New text message alert sound?

Tested few roms until now, but i like this one better: simple, useful applications, looks great (from my perspective), fast, stable (no reboots nec), battery life friendly (not like other rom that drained my bat in one day :)) ).

With IE, the hardware keyboard adds extra spaces and mixes up letters. The keyboard works fine to text or for eg in M$ office etc. Could this be a memory problem. Installed opera 9.7beta, and less problems with that.

For me it works without any issues. Could be fault memory or opera for you. Try the following:
1. Hard SPL followed with Hard Reset
2. WM 6.6 Cuffiss V1.3 followed with Hard Reset

Woke up this morning & was soooooo happy. v1.4 was out. Flashed (yes did all hard resets etc) BUT I still have exactly the same hardware keyboard issues. In opera the cursor moves back and forward along the text when typing so you get garbage text, and in IE random spaces are inserted in text as you type, making them impossible to use. In 1.4 I am no longer able to install new panels either.

No. For me it definitely seems to be the build version. No problem with the 9.7beta. ?Did you use build 9.5 v2745 in the cook? That had this problem?

i think you did not have the winrar or winzip open with winrar and extract in to your bureau and rename the ruu_signed.nbh to kovsimg.nbh and put into your memorycard and go to the bootloader mode (turn off your device and Hold power button+ left and right key) and flash it. Are you already do the Hardspl i think...........

If I would use opera for example, and go to google.com..
When I'm using the HW keys in landscape mode, and I click the search-field to enter, as I click the search field, the software keys pop-up. And If I type using the HW keyboard, the SW keyboard minimizes, but the cursor is no longer in the field, so I can't use the keyboard.

But found 2 bugs:

1. IGO 2008 not working at all. And this is an important thing for me. First error was "FAild to reserve memory". TRied soft reset then no error msg just it seem to start and then get out ........ i have no idea how to resolve this as any other rom was ok with IGO.
2. In the comm manager the 3G icon is set to disable. But the icon in the right upper corner is says 3G .... so i guess is enabled and cannot be disabled. That's not so important.

but rotation to landscape is slow.
also the photo swiping under the photos and videos tab lags. hv experienced this in several other wm6.5 roms...is it just me?

Hey,

nice rom. a few points:

1. as mentioned switching to landscape is very very slow.
2. the start menu could do with a bit more organising if possible
3. need a few more things included in the rom like advanced config etc
4. also, dnt kno if its just me but when u press the 'ok' in the top right, the light up thing to show u pressed it doesnt light up around the 'ok' its more inbetween the battery and the 'ok' - hope u get what i mean lol

but other than that a very nice rom, good job!!:)

Just test only one day. For me, it just perfect.

Youtube, Facebook, Opera, GPS tool, etc all working, even PIM backup (some other rom, i got an error when restore the data)

camera, start up fast but i have a problem with shutter lag. It likes always in self-timer mode.

recommend in the future, not now i know u are very speedy:D

- FingerKeyboard, i hardly use the HW kb now
- alternate rom w/o TF3D, it just an annoying stuff for me (i use SPB mobile shell which is more comprehensive and work) so reclaim space, perhaps more speed:confused:
- No panel manager!, keep it that way man (sorry fishy)

This rom intend to disable Panel Manager since everything is in the start menu and I like it bc I always press panel button when I hurry to pick up a call:D

i can probably do without the panels but not having the left n right shortcut keys makes life soooo much more difficult!

Yes but when i try to launch application,error come up and want a newer version of netcfv,so i installed the 3,7 and then was ok.

The ROM is quite fast. It would be possible to remedy these defects and place of the original Lock Windows Mobile 6.5

Hmm. where is xperia camera, i found only htc, i use exchange mail and i cant set folders what i sync because i cant scroll mail menu up, contact sync not working and again like so many rom Youtube say: Cannot play this video (same result in every video)

photo scrolling has improved. not as laggy as previous version...

new problem - i cant assign the two soft buttons to anything.
under 1.Select a button, the two buttons dont appear in the box. its just empty so theres no way to assign.

I'm on the experimental 21928 build and do not have this "issue". The issue was present before I flashed this version however.

oh and another thing, is there no way to auto setup mail account? as u do in default xperia messaging.

other than that this rom is really really good.

You could 'auto-setup' your email by just 'Start-->Email-->Setup Email, input your email and it will try to auto retrieve email settings from your email provider.

I'm on your 2.0 ROM. So far, nothing to say, it's fast and responsive. I like the no of default panels. :) And IGO works like a charm. It's one of the fastest roms i've ever tested. I'm going to test bat life. Last rom i've tested drains the bat to fast (i think it's agents47's FS 2.7). And i really do not like to charge every 2 days. Is there a cab for bat 1% increments?

i have the same problem with the 2 soft keys too. and i found that font camera is not working with htc camera.
once i switch to font camera and capture a photo. htc camera will auto shut down.
after that i won't able to launch htc camera due to cannot initialize the camera. any solution for this problem?

other than the two problems i mention above. overall this rom works pretty nice.

opera shortcut link doesn't exists in Start Up.

i'll try to hunt this down.. but if anybody could give me an answer .. i'll appreciate it :)

If You want to stop opera running in the background all the time, then change in the registry HKLM/software/htc/PushInternetEngine/ Enable to 0 and soft reset.
