almost all of the oem branches are based off 21234 (iirc SAM was based off an older build than that) - the oem's requested their modifications, and msft did them, incremented build number - some of these trees have stopped receiving modifications already.

For most of you, for the moment, 218xx is the branch to follow (but they might change the number now that COM2 is done as of 21820)

Most of the current focus is on UX as the backend code is mostly at the goal, so we should be seeing some nice changes to the theming api's etc. that will allow us much more modification of the UI (iirc the end goal is complete skinnability and finger friendliness - nothing left over from the old 6.1 interface that used a stylus, essentially)

They might be bandying about the idea of licensing resco keyboard to replace the stock non-finger-friendly keyboard.

Also, an interesting tidbit, any device that has a dpad and IE6 is *required* to have support in the display driver for a mouse pointer, and support in the dpad driver for a mouse pointer, to allow for things like javascript mouseovers that pull drop-down menus

Have been trying the Tachi Dialer posted up by Captain_Throwback and it seems to be working so far.

I can help here.

There are two things that you can do:

Use the Tachi Phone Canvas package from my 4shared (http://www.4shared.com/file/109864437/8377fa6/Tachi_PhoneCanvas.html), which includes the necessary bmp files for your BT icons . . . or,

hm. I don't know what other option there is. Here's the problem - If the only dialer you cooked in is the Tachi one, there are several files missing from the cab & OEM - those are the BT & headset icons. You would have to get these from another Phone Canvas package to have them.

Also, I don't know if you've been following the Phone Canvas thread, but the way the Tachi handles the BT icons is as a notification. I'll link my post regarding that here:

Second, why is it that I'm unable to read any new messages? My phone would wake up and i see a new text on the today panel, but when I go to click it, it would disappear! I check in the inbox and deleted folder but it's not in there! This happens to both SMS and MMS so I don't know if it was caused by the connectionsetup that I mentioned earlier. Third, do you know why I don't get any notification for new text messages? I check to make sure in sounds & notifications that I have the alert for it and they work, but when I get a new text, I don't see any notification on the taskbar and no sound either...only the screen would wake up.

Short description: every so many hours everything in the main device gets deleted by something exept the internal storage folder..... the best I got out of it was approx 36 hours... will keep you posted!!!

radio is 1.00.25.05

It's weird because if i use the XIP 21728, it works fine and text messages appear and so is the notifications, but if i use any higher XIP, it doesn't work. I guess I'm stuck with 21728 then :(

Can anyone tell me what is special about 23001 build? I tried the Diamond-GSM-Kitchen-21820-R1.00, and build a ROM, but the ROM kept freeze on 2nd 1st splash screen :(

i installed EnergyROM 23001, but found it lack of RAM/storage space ... :(

i m downloading NmLs & yours to flash now, but nearly off work, might have to do it tomorrow :P



update: I just install your 23001, VERY nice / fast / lots of memory!!!
I found 2 issues for the time being~
1: There are 2 headphone icons when insert a headset into it
2: When there's an incoming call, the MICROSOFT phonepad pop up for 1 or 2 seconds before the HTC phonepad pops up.

Waiting for the kitchen now :D

Camera doesn't start by using link trough today screen in titanium version....
when using the link "camera" from pictures & videos explorer and unable to setup camera or video from here too :/

But camera work using shortcut from start menu :)

I've installed latest rev 4, and it is stable and fast, little too lite, it is without standard things, like office, pdf...but I found cabs for all that, the only thing I don't like till now it is ugly calculator and I can't find the topaz version, can you help me?
Also it would be nice to have new topaz keyboard as it can't be installed with a cab, and other new stuff to have look and feel of Rhodium/Topaz. :)

There seems to be some problem with the SMS. Try replying from the Titanium plugin or from the messaging it will not work. Does anyone know a workaround to this.

1- u can get old connection setup by cab
2- use total commander from chome menu better then file explorer
- hold stylus on fexplorer then move to top

system tools in initflashfiles.dat oem 0409 and if provxml by programs thats are there and ext/shared/anryl/1amojecontacty

u have to search for text "system tools" or "multimedia" in *.dat;app.dat;*.provxml in whole kitchen as unicode (Total Commander alt+f7)

just tried the 2009, seems to work great atm :) but the "enter pin code" doesnt show up when u restart the phone so need to go to comp manager and turn off and turn on the phone for it to show up!

and, is there any possibility to get the touchflo 3d2 new contact thingy on titanium?

i didnt replace anything.. just downloaded the rom and flashed my phone :P


EDIT* btw is there anyway u can make a custom 23009 rom with like youtube and like audiobooster.
and that other audio app that makes the volume louder? :)

why so complicated u just use shared msxipkernel and oemxipkernel just copy from previous no to next one so 21309=213016 changes only msxipkernel so rom shared :D

u copy the whole structure to the kitchen all is optimized to max u just check extendir in kitchen if u want to use it or not and whitch cache u want to use :cool:

Currently I'm using your 21819/20 XIP SYS DIAMOND OEMDRIVERS optimized which run pretty good (running titanium-only), but would like to upgrade to build 21828.
Can I use the OEM from 21820 with 21828 XIP/SYS or did the structure change?

i would say to you, and to others, 23016 is not very stable, just go with the stable build.

22001 is the best version so far (in my point of view):
1) no contact bug.
2) fast and stable.
3) old version of IE (now I can install UpToDate, the best medical software).
4) better economy of energy (unlike the other WM65).
5) now shows the extension of the files and the preview image in file explorer ext.
8) small size of the rom (my came with only 76MB).
9) for the first time I see the arrows to scroll side of the titanium in the right place.
10) Quick GPS connection (works even inside house).

Anryl, this rom was made specifically for VGA devices? if the answer is yes, then explained is the best performance and energy saving.

I installed a cab for TF2Dv1 from BSB thread which I normally use in all ROMs in your latest native 23047-WWE ROM.

By the way the ROM is fast vert stable

Found a solution. In the new 230xx Roms you need to install this small startup file by which you can enable the launch of TF3D via registry. Basically not very complicated but works.
The file is made by Amarullz of e-natives technology. Link:
