okay i'm using slide2unlock and tomtom7 black 7.9.....
before i start tomtom the gps status led isnt active.(doesnt show up orange)
while using tomtom it is active
after using tomtom7 it is still active even if tomtom is closed by taskmanager.

used rom is KaiserHTC_GER_1.56.407.3Reconstructed

radio is 1.27.15.32(1.71 isnt working with this rom!)

does the active led show up that gpsreciver is still runing after closing tomtom?(if it is how to shutdown gps module w/o restarting the device?)

TOMTOM ISNT INSTALLED BY CAB! it is COPIED TO SDCARD!

is there any way to disable gps with an programm?(htc gps tool?)

thanks!

You can try GPS Tools .. and if you have Advance Task Manager, you can kill the process / services ..

the reason your batt is draining so quickly could possibly be attributed to the overal battery life. you might need a new battery

how long is this batterylife in average? 1 year 2 years? 6months? are the batterys like mugen 3000mA bigger than std?/do they need new backcover?

The life of a Lithium-Polymer battery, at least in my experience, is a couple of years more or less, depending on how much I use it, charge it, etc. And assuming that your battery is shot, a quick search (http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=tytn+ii+battery) at amazon.com led me to stock batteries and extended ones.

However, to truly know if it's a battery hardware problem, you need to know whether this happened gradually; over days, weeks and months; or if this just spontaneously started one night.

If it gradually declined, it's could be your battery itself, but if it just happened one day, then I would guess that your GPS or cellular/data connection is active and in use all night, or some misbehaving program isn't letting your device sleep properly.
