ok, i already tried them by myself. i really love your icons, and i really love this rom! it's brilliant. speed and memory usage seems to be outstanding!
the only problem i've still got is that i can't calibrate the g-sensor. already tried all the different calibration apps around here. but that's not that important.
thanks dotcompt and xkaiser for your help! now my diamond is a real diamond :D

Highlights are green. THIS (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=546746) will give you blue highlights, but for some reason it messes up my pop-up-menus (creates some ugly lines)...

Yep, currently using henk's highlights now on Gen.Y D2 rom but the man says there not for WM6.5. Would be good if dotcompt can incorporate the same color of blue as the energy ROMS which to me is a lot better than original HTC Green ;)

Ah, so that's the reason... actually, I was hoping that the Diamond Settings Tool some day will have an option to choose highlight color - and manila text color - from a color map...!

I have my Diamond back from repair. They replaced the (WiFi) antenna, connection and, hear this, a silver screw. Anyways, it's working like a charm again. No problems with voided warranty.
So I installed the latest ROM availiable here. Is it me or is there somehing wrong? At more places I see DeepShining 8.1 listed as the version. I have checked the file I used, but that really says DeepShining 8.2 b23017.rar and downloaded from the first post.
Anyone else noticed this?
Other than that, nothing but a nice working ROM. Many thanks to you, dotcompt. A really nice ROM you made and so much better than the original I had to use for a few moments.

Okay, here's all you need to know to go all blue:
1. Blue theme
Install the themes from xkaiser, download link in this post (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4497560&postcount=1999), and select the DS.Blue_xmatrix theme from Start\Settings\Today\Appearance.
2. Blue Highlights
a. Download from this post (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4307415&postcount=1) the Laser Inc. Blue Highlights (No TD).cab and the Tachi Blue Dialer. Choose the white/blue canvas to get everything similar to original, but with blue instead of green. Do not soft-reset when prompted (not yet!).
b. Also, follow instructions in this post (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4501710&postcount=87) in order to correct an error in pop-up-menus. No soft-reset yet.
3. Blue ezInput details
Download from this post (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4159669&postcount=310) and install in order to make the SIP keyboard blue instead of green. And now you can soft-reset!
That's all! Pretty simple, just follow these steps. Enjoy!

CAB is here (http://www.4shared.com/file/131663458/d46fd5fc/DeepShining_Blue.html) and in the extra cabs & FAQ section, no reason to miss it. :)
Warning: This will change Manila slidebar icons and clock theme too.
Extra Tip: For those of you that are interested in some registry tweaks I added a link in first post under Tips and Tricks section ( Registry collection Tip & Tricks).
This will help you to customize your ROM and hopefully will clear this threat from some unwanted questions about registry tweaks.

Hi, i have installed LiteShining 7, i like the look of your roms.
but i only use Titanium for now, cause it saves a lot of ram !! TF3D 2 is good looking, but use Ram...unless you deactivate it, you can't launch many applications like games for ex..so i decided to use titanium only..
Your LiteShining 7 is a very fast Rom, in fact, Build 23016 seems to be faster than 23017!!!...i don't know why, but the facts are there, this old rom from yours is faster than the last one!!..i have tried a lot of build 23017 roms, but they were all laggy..
This rom is almost perfect, but i would remove TF3D 2.0, and the Tachi Dialer from it ! and keep all the rest...it would be even faster i think!
The native WM6.5 dialer isn't very beautiful but faster than the Tachi and don't use much ram, and there are some good skins (Black_VGA_Skin_WM.cab for ex...) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=434934
i think you should make a Clean WM6.5 [build 23016] from your liteshining 7 rom, because i haven't found yet a good looking, fast and stable WM6.5 + titanium only Rom...aztor made one, but the camera don't work for example..BsB R is fast and light, but there are some bugs...i have also tried the Clean 6.5 Benko Rom, this one is very light, but is slow and buggy...
a lot of people would be happy with a light, good looking, fast and stable titanium only 6.5 rom...

I love your roms. I was using your 04-08-09 DeepShining 7.0 RC WM6.5 23016 before i tried using 27-08-09 DeepShining 8.2 WM6.5 23017. Version 7.0 seems to have not much problems except that when i want to visit youtube or use the opera browser, i have to soft-reset my phone as they will prompt me with not enough memory. Everything else seems perfect. :D
Anyway, when i tried using your 27-08-09 DeepShining 8.2 WM6.5 23017, it works for the first day and starts to go wrong in the second day. When I press the peoples tab, TF3D2 will close and reopen again. I doubt it would be due to bad flash since i tried it twice. I Flash 8.2, 7.0, then 8.2 again. However it still have the same problems. What could be the problem? Can anyone enlighten me?

Before running Youtube and Opera run cleanRam level 3 first, no need to soft reset.
Before flash a new Rom (DeepShining or other Roms from others chefs) I advise you guys to flash a Stock Rom, it is a pain in the ... but I can garantee you that most of the common problems reported in this forum will dissapear.
I know what you are thinking right now so find stock Roms here (http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Diamond_Upgrades)

Nice Day, dotcompt. Thanks for your advice. Will using mitty work as well as flashing stocked roms first? The clean ram does not work really well. After a few days of usage, when i press clean ram, the TF3D2 will close and not reopen again. It will show on the screen 'press to launch touchflow 3d' but i can't get it to open unless i do a soft reset. Thats why i prefer to soft reset. Oh yeah, one more thing. how should i choose the stocked roms? I am not very sure about this. Will something happen if i flash a rom with radio that is different from the radio i flashed originally? I am only able the download the rom that has radio different from my original rom as i am unable to download from rapid share or megaupload.
Best regards.

Some times the display of these menu items is complete and sometimes not..Also I installed DHR Commmgr pro..where I should be able see my current profile in the manila....but I dont see it here instead of alphabets I see ???? - ?????

Hello guys,
I'm using the deepshining rom for a long time.
But now i've noticed a problem.
When I put my device in "vibrate mode" (using the volume button or even in the settings tab) and then put it back in the "normal mode" (or with the max volume bar) the device doesn't ring or vibrate anymore, only the lights flash..
Everytime that i need to put in vibrate mode and then put it back again in normal mode, i have to go Settings/Personal/Phone and just click on "OK" button. This trick solves the problem...but it's kinda annoying doing this EVERYTIME that i need to put my phone on vibrate =/
I've tried to reflash the rom, tried to flash a stock rom before flash the rom again, made a thousends of hardresets...and nothing.
Does anyone knows a fix for this problem?

I flashed this rom on my father's xda diamond 'bout a week ago.
He's been testing it till now; now an "bug/error/whatever" occured.
He has problems sending SMSs. The receiver gets the SMSs delayed or even not at all. Sometimes the SMSs, that are received, display incomplete.
He's sending a SMS from Germany to Thailand; the SMS's text is in Thai.
Hope you guys know a solution.

I notice that when I change it from Vibrate to Sound (by holding the Volume Up button) I get TF3D settings tab > Sound > Ringtone reset to "None"
This would be the reason why there is no call ring sound. What I don't know is that why the ringtone gets reset to "None" when I "volume up" from Vibrate...

I seem to have stumbled onto a minor glitch in 8.2...
I accidentally enabled the g-sensor thingy, and even though the on-display settings say it's disabled, it keeps on being enabled.
This wouldn't have been so bad except for the telephone reverting to a qwerty-style stylus-keyboard whenever it believes itself to be in landscape mode and there is a text-entry-box open.
This stylus-qwerty-thingie remains when the telephone goes back into portrait perspective, effectively meaning that I spend time in the sip-menu almost every time I take out the phone.
Is there any method of quick-and-dirty telling the phone "I wish my input to be set up as follows: XX. Don't _EVER_ try to override this using whatever someone thought to be a better idea, this is MY phone, and I decide.", or is this stylus-keyboard baked in as the preference of the maker of the ezinput package?

Hi, I searched for an answer but could not find it. Is there a way to change the HTC logo (start menu one), by the Windows black and white logo that comes with the standard 6.5?

tks,
Well, you can always install LiteShining instead... there you get the standard WM taskbar and icon...

This has nothing to do with this rom.. I had the same problem once with a energy rom. Contacted HTC Support..The link to internal storage was corrupted..the only way to get the link back is by doing a format of the internal storage..yeah that sucks but ..you'll will have your internal storage back..
my 2 cents..
how do you format the internal storage?

thanks a lot, but that is the hard reset. What I needed was to format the internal storage.
In my case, it was not showing anymore. I changed the HardSPL and radion, but the phone was not showing the internal storage. I found out it is a corrupted storage that needs to be format. I connected the phone to the PC, instead of selecting the "active sync" connection I chose "connect as hardrive" and then used windows to format it. It worked. :)

Hi,
I updated my Diamond to DeepShining 8.2. I really like it but I had the problem that the system sometimes crashed (freezed) or even rebootet. In any case all my settings got lost and I had to setup the system again (recalibrate etc...).
I saw that someone else had the same issue and to solve this one should reflash the diamond with a stock ROM and then get back to DeepShining 8.2. This really seams to work for me, but I want to know why? What get's overwriten by the stock ROM that persists with the Shining ROM?
And an other question, is the small Flash on the diamond NAND or NOR? (NAND I guess). Why is it possible to loose all setup data and the registry? Or who tells the ROM to start clean (perform touch calibration etc). I guess it is the ROM's default registry, right?
Thanks for the answers.

Ive been using this Rom for a couple of days now, its great but Ive noticed a small bug with the stock tab, when you try to open the chart, you cant scroll to the bottom of it to see the buttons to change to 5 day,1week etc.. chart views. The previous Rom i had you didnt need to scroll down, it was somehow fitted to the screen size.
anyone else having this problem ?
I tried the MTTY and re-flashed the phone, it didnt fix it, also after i installed the blue theme i am not able to change the background image, its grey now, unlike before.
apart from that the Rom is really good. but could do with a bit more free mem, I suggest removing this tachi dailer

this should have worked:
Start -> Settings ->system -> clear storage
and select "Format Internal Storage Only".
also there is a fix from htc that could work:
http://www.htc.com/us/supportdownload.aspx?p_id=148&cat=0&dl_id=436
also the hard reset procedure can format the NAND also ...
when you see message (after pushing voldown+control+reset), instead of vol up for manufacturer default you press voldown (manufacturer default and format moviNAND) ...

I´m encountering following problem:
if you set a passwort to lock the diamond everythink works until you reset. After the cold start you will be asking for your password but you can´t unlock anymore. The only solution ist to reinstall a new ROM!!!
Is it possible to uninstall the slide-lock/unlock Tool? What ist the name of this tools?
Thanks in advance
I have this problem as well. This is for sure a MAJOR BUG! I have done a hardreset and it worked fine for one day then the same problem occured:mad: Yes I did do a MTTY... and yes I did do a hardreset after flashing. I´m just curios what causes this problem....
If there is a solution for this I´ll be more than happy. I really liked the rom before this bug occured.
*********
Strangest thing happen.... I connected the phone to pc with the usb-cabel and a dialog appered saying that I have entered the wrong password to many times (well I´m sure I haven´t). Then it ask me to enter "1a2b3c" in order to unlock... And guess what!! it worked. Now everythings back to normal:)

EDIT: So i managed to install it without any flaws but can anyone tell me how to change back to the original taskbar icons (ie. The windows flag, etc). Is there a cab to install those default icons? Thanks

Ive tried a few wm 6.5 on my diamond touch now, the memory usage seems to be a big issue. This rom seems to be great on battery life and pretty good on memory usage compared to other wm6.5 Roms ive tried, however when it comes to browsing it seems to go all wrong, even after doing a cleanRam or restarting the phone, it almost always seems to run out of memory after just a few mins of browsing, Ive tried browsing with IE and opera.
It wasn't this bad when i was using a wm 6.1 Rom, but i really dont want to go back to that! as everything else works so much faster on wm6.5
one other thing Ive noticed is that you cant really multitask very well, if you leave your browser open and try to check something else on your phone i.e a txt message that might have just arrived, you cant go back to your browsing, as the program seems to shut down.
oh and btw the "Launch Browser" on the internet tab doesn't seem to work.

so i've had the rom for two days (8.2 TF3D 2.1) and so far it has messed up my phone. The contact lists stops working and tells me there is no service all the time. Does this sound like a bad flash? Cause im very ticked off right now as im not near my windows xp computer to resync all my contacts, etc. I used the internal method of flashing where i renamed the rom diamimg.nbh.

I'm a returning Deep Shining ROM user. So far so good. My only tiny problem, which is also present with the other ROMs, is the overlapping tab menu and calendar entries (when you have more than 1 calendar entry to display for the today screen) on the TF3D home screen. Probably, a solution is to lower it a little bit so that it will be completely covered in the tab bar.

Hi,
telme the file that have this problem, because i have made some changes since the frist release witch have 12MB, if you use a cab that have more than 3MB of size that was the wrong one i placed here by my fault.
but now they are replaceded by new cabs that have a size of 3MB whitout that error
So just download the new one here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=4636516&postcount=2085) this are the fixed ones. dont forget to unistall de first videocall cab and then install the correct one in the phone memory.

PS: that phone error in the picture its because i havent insert a sim card, it was just to show you how it looks now.

i hope you are better off then me with getting your Diamond repaired. Mine went for repair a few weeks ago and since than it has turned into a nightmare.
First of all the 'pick-up guy' didn't show up, so I had to send it myself. When it came back, te WiFi was working again, but the GPS was dead. So had to wait for the pick-up again and wait for repair. Now my Diamond has returned working, but damaged during repair . A spot on my display and a big scratch on the 'home'-button.
Now I have to wait and see what they want to do about it.

Yes, I am afraid it is really bad. HTC makes wonderfull devices but their aftersale support is just horrible, at least in Portugal.
If your device was damaged during rapairs dont let them go away without repair ir again. Even if it was scratched during delivery or poor handly during the transportation, it is still their responsability.
Damm it, its been 3 weeks so far and not a single information or status repair. If I had blown the engine of my car it should probably be fixed by now.

Excellent. I was just about to go searching for how to add the Action menu :)
Dotcompt, brilliant ROM. I put on v4 last night along with the deep shining skin. Very nice.
Once I installed opera and copied the exe files, installed some of the tweaks and redone some of the shortcuts in Windows\Programs its very close to what I'm looking for.
Some things I'm missing are
1. The comm manager doesn't have the 3G toggle.
2. Having 4 programs wide in the program TAB in manila would be nicer than 3.
3. It would be nice if the manila TAB icons were colour like the larger icon that show up when you slide the across the TAB.
Overall its a very nice ROM. The best I've found so far. It has the right mix of apps and tweaks without having too much. Its also quite fast and battery usage seems good so far.

I don't know if this is anything to do with the ROM, but earlier my diamond hard reset by itself (losing all my tweaks, programs, setup) and the internal storage was wiped (loads of apps and photos gone). This has never happened to me before so is it just a coincidence? The internal storage is visible via the phone or USB and is empty. What a bummer!

Hi,
Thanks for the reply. I have followed the steps as advised but am still unable to install the ROM as the Update Utility.exe file will not launch.
I have downloaded it several times, deleting each previous download each time. I have then unzipped the utility into a folder on its own and unzipped the .nbh file into the same folder before attempting launch. And I have also unzipped the .nbh file into the folder first and then the utility. Both with no success.
I have also attempted this with at least 4 seperate downloads of the ROM, and countless downloads of the utility and after installing the Signed HardSPL Olinex 1.40 file provided onto my Diamond succesfully.
Any further advice would be much appreciated.

Another issue, if you open any app and then go to home the app is closed automatically, i mean any app you open does not remain in tasks and you cannot change betwen them, is this a bug or just i'm doing something wrong.
Except this and version of ie, everything is great.
In version 7 RC it was working good.
Attached is a video, hope you can understand.
Video (http://armandomedrano.com/files/video02.rar)
I'm seeing this also. Very often when I hit the Home icon while running some app, and then the task icon on the top right, the app that was open is gone and the task list is empty. And if it is there I can't go to it. Anyone else see this and is there a fix?

Any news at your side? This ROM is not developing anymore and even on page 3. Hope you get your device back soon, so you can make some nice stuff again. With WM6.5 being released and so on.
I complained about the damages and now they're going to replace my device with a new one. I don't know if I should be happy with that, because it will take 3 weeks. A new device is nice, but this way is far from pleasant. I'll have to do without for so long again.

Just I wanted to say thanks, because after 2 months, Deepshining Rom is the best, and stablest Rom here.
Last week I tried almost all of new Roms listed, but you know, when you upload a Rom, and after 5 minutes comes something silly problem, just you will try another Rom.
I gave a chance to the other Roms, but I installed again the Deepshining Rom, I hope comes out a new one, but till this time this is the Best Rom in the market.

I've posted something about it before... it happened to me and the issue was the internal storage, which was corrupted. I guess that is why it would re-reset itself; but I am not sure... I've plugged the phone to the PC, connected as hardrive and formated the internal storage... after that, I flahsed the ROM again. Now works fine...

I had the same problem as you before......drove me nuts
use a registry editor to search for --switchtopage (I assume this is what your error msg said, mine was /remote)
For me the coreplayer shortcut was being added to the registry as "coreplayer.exe /remote", hence everytime it runs it tries to look for a file called /remote, hence the file not found. Simply remove the parameter and it'll run sweet.
hope this helps

Hi dotcompt,
been using the 8.2 LS since the release day now and most things work splendid! You've done a great job here!
Although, I have a few remarks to make:
- The Manila threaded SMS viewer still doesn't show the entire text message if the message is long. I've mentioned this issue before as well, regarding previous versions of the ROM. Any solution for this?
- Sometimes when writing a message in T9 mode, the SIP keyboard suddenly freezes - I can't keep typing! The temporary solution is to turn off T9, type one letter in ABC mode, then turn on T9 again. Then I can continue. But it's quite annoying as this happens several times during every text message!
- I also would very much prefer a sign counter in the text message writing view in Manila, showing e.g. "120 / 160" signs.
The battery usage has improved significantly in this version when phone is idle. But I have the impression that it uses more battery while using the phone. And RAM goes high quite rapidly - it usually lies around 85-90% also after running cleanRAM. Some percents more than earlier versions...

Urfortunately I have no such data in register. There's some problem with shortcut, but there's nothing added there either ... when I run player.exe directly, there's no problem ... but I can't find "--switchtopage" connected to coreplayer anywhere in the system ..

Now I found the problem ... the problem was not coreplayer, but manila program launcher ... in register there were default settings for first 4 program launcher positions - which I changed of course ... so there were two things launched in one moment ... so I deleted it all and now it works (and some other small problems with other positions vanished too - like not working homepage in opera, not remembering last position in book in mobipocket ....)
Great - thanks!!!

Greetings to all.
Installed DeepShining 8.2 about month ago. Nice looking ROM but somehow unfunctional. Searched this thread few minutes but didn't find nobody with same problems so I have to ask again (and sorry if I missed something but 2000 post is just too much);
- looks like my Diamond isn't multitaksing any more. Every time I have program opened and go to Today screen or make a call, program stops and I cannot find it in Task Manager. I don't recall seeing any program in Task Manager since I have this ROM. Very annoying when you work somethig and then receive a call - program closes and work is lost.
- When I open program or document from Start folder od File Manager and I close it, Start folder or File Manager doesn't wait for me and I am again in Today screen. Also annoying. If I want to open Contacts and then Calendar for example, I open Start/Accessories/Calendar, close it, then I have to open Start/Accessories again. Accessories folder should wait 'there'?! Seems connected to first problem.
- many times I cannot delete calls from call history
- Manila Today - Calendar page - New appointment doesn't work. Very useful link though.
- hard to live on this new battery life. Made ALL adjustments from first post but... Still have problems with GPRS connection almost always on. Removed Facebook Today settings, removed email account, unchecked automatic Manila Weather updates but GPRS still (almost) always on. Didn't have this problems before.
- many times I try to start camera and 'memory low' error appears. In Task manager I can see I have 99% memory available and no programs running.
Thanks god I have another phone (old Nokia) for making calls and this one just for showing off, but I'll have to make some changes soon ;-)
Anyone with same problem(s) or with some ideas? Or new version on horizon?
Best regards,
RP

I posted about this last week and had seen someone else with the same problem too. It is very annoying when you apps close down after switching tasks. I might switch ROMs if I see another that looks good, or if a new Deep Shining comes out. Its been a while since an update...
One bug that annoys me is the bookmarks integration with Manila and Opera. Selecting bookmarks through manila does not show the Opera bookmarks.

Hi,
I am afraid I have bad news for you guys.
As you must know by now my Diamond was in rapairs in the last 32 days. Since the repair center was not able to repair my device in the legal time (30 days), I have called the HTC partner that sold me the phone to demand a new phone or to be refunded with 589€ that was the cost of my Diamond a year ago.
They agreed with my demand so I decided to get the new HTC Touch Pro 2 for free because the current value in Portugal is 579€.
So I am moving now to the HTC touch Pro 2 ROM development forum.
I wish you guys all the best with your Diamond and I want to thank all of you that used my Roms and help me to create my roms even better.
If you get the HTC Touch Pro 2 you will find me in the ROM development section soon, for the Diamond users goodbye my friends I hate to go and let you down but I love my new HTC Touch Pro 2 FOR FREE. ;) :)
Take care

What happened with your diamond ?
I want my money back too haha :D
I paid when i bought BRL $ 1900,00 = USD $ 1092,00 OR EUR $ 742,00
That´s because , in Brazil , all the "High-End" devices ( the diamond was one when i bought it ) are VEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERY EXPENSIVE.
With US$1092,00 i buy 2 TP2 haha :D
So , what happened ?

Not sure what happened but I think they lost track of the phone between the pick up from my home until delivery at HTC repair center, so they were not able to repair it in 30 days (legal time) and in this case they have to refund you or let you choose a new phone with the same value you bought yours, in my case it was 589€ one year ago.
So for everyone in Portugal who have a device with warrant and need to be repaired remember if they are not able to fix it in 30 days you have the wright for a total refund or a new phone.
I just dont know if the same happens in other contries.
Cheers

Exactly how much ROMs did you try?
As I explained in my previous post I've been using it also for a quite a while but when such a basic thing like multitasking doesn't work and my application closes every time phone rings it is hard to keep on smiling. Shining screen just isn't enough these days.
But next ROM can only be better so best luck with Touch Pro 2 ROMs.

Well after using this ROM for few weeks I must recommend you to uninstall asap. There are plenty of good 6.5 based ROMs on this forum and as you see on previous posts this one is simply not working. And now even author is leaving 'us'.
So don't miss another minute and check for another rom NOW.
Could you recomend some? I'm 99% sutisfied with this ROM - the TF3D2 configuration not working is absolutely minor problem to me - so if there's something very similar - maybe I'll try someday, but now I need to have a working phone ... which Shining ROM provides me good enough.

Why change if you are satisfied.
But in my case I couldn't for example add dialed number to existing contact, new appointment shortcut didn't work (and I use it a lot), not to mention again that I couldn't any have application in background. And this goes on...
Those are important things. Works this in your phone? If not, and you are still satisfied then I rest my case :)
Now I'm downloading X2H (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=552061)ROM and SunX (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=560745)(with Manila 2.5 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=4575421)). Both looks nice but as I said, phone must be functional too.

unbeliveble, first is it clear that you dont know much about WM, the multitasking is working on this Rom, you just need to know how to change the registry settings, if you dont know google it.
Second you advise a Manila 2.5 without even test it, well my friend as much as I like this Manila 2.5 let me say that it is still full of bugs.

About month ago I tried about ten ROMs and some of them were WM6.5 - I tried SUNX either Windows Revolution and they didn't last in my phone whole day ... many bugs, missing settings possibilities, slow behavior ... etc. Of course someone can use it, but I didn't. I have Deep shining now for about 3 weeks, still finding some advises to fix or bypass some minor bugs and I'm more and more sutified with it ...

Well I won't quote myself becouse posts are few clicks away but I couldn't keep any program running in background. In those few weeks I had this ROM installed I NEWER saw any program in task manager. I use Garmin and Excel occationally and it was very disturbing when I couldn't switch between running programs (becouse when I wen't to Today screen foreground program always closes). It doesn't help me if other services (not visible in Task Manager) runs, this still bothers me very much. And as I said, I had ROM installed for (relatively) long time becouse I liked it. But now I definitely won't recommend this discontinued ROM to noone. I admin I didn't google for those registry settings (why didn't you post it if they are ROM related?) but why should I? ROM just didn't work, tried to apply fixed from first posts and then gave up.
And about Manila 2.5 my words was also that users should check it but "...must test before I can recommend it.". And still think so. Beautifull ROM and I see that many users like it and think that it is fast. I don't agree on these, but still worth checking. So what is problem here?
Now using X2H™ WM6.5 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=552061) and seems like a keeper, but will definitely have eye on Manila 2.5.

Sometimes using google and the search feature in this forum helps you a lot and makes you understand that things are not so "not recomended"
There are several ways to stop applications autokill:
Have you tried Advanced Configuration Tool v3.3?
Open Advanced configuration Tool go to 'HTC Task Manager' and set 'Auto Kill' to disabled.
or
Hkey_Current_USER/Software/HTC/Taskmanager
"Enable Autokill" change from 1 to 0
and finnally
this one will kill the apps only if you tap and hold
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\TaskManager]
"EnableTapAndHold"="00000001"
Hope it helps

FAQ in first post:
Q: What is the difference between Deep and Lite versions?
A: LiteShining - Removed some aplicattions like YouTube, Facebook, Messenger, Microsoft Myphone, M6 Taskbar, MarketPlace, Voice Recorder, StreamingMedia, MP3Trimmer and TouchOFF. Apart from this, it has the same features as DeepShining.
Sorry no more updates. My Diamond had a malfunction and I received an Touch Pro 2 to replace it.
So, I will not release further Diamond ROMs as I can not test them first.
If someone have an old unused Diamond to spare, I would be happy to continue cooking for this wonderfull device.
Thanks
