How to improve battery life
- If you do not use 3G, goto Start\Settings\Personnal\Phone click on the Band tab an change your network type to "GSM".
- If you do not use Bluetooth, goto Start\Settings\Connectionsl\Beam and disable "Receive all incoming beams".
- Make sure that on Wi-Fi Settings the Power Save Mode is set to "Best Battery"

So far after a few hours ram is between 75 and 80%. You can use cleanram available in my rom to cleam memory and also At0mAng_&_Danny_and_2_TF3D2_Tweak to disable some features like Large menus (WM 6.5 menus are very good).
The weather database is working fine and yes you ring/text from tf3d2 contacts.

I have seen in this forum tha Manila doesn't need Touch Flo to work in WM6.5

i get this error each time i finish a call... also when i soft reset my pda and try to access phone to dial a number it gives about 20 errors and only after i tap 20 times DON'T SEND it works...

Also the signal strenght is shown only while making a call...

I was missing Opera & Advanced Config 3.3

It's not that you need to click really hard, you just have to tap and hold for half a second or so before it will select something...in a way I like that better. I was always opening files or directories by accident while trying to scroll. Takes some getting used to but now I kind of like it. :)

Anyone else not getting a signal strength bar on their taskbar? I get the 3g icon fine and the phone icon...but the signal strength bar is missing. Strangely enough when I use the phone canvas, it suddenly appears again.


Edit: Just saw the post above mine about someone else not having a signal bar. Maybe it's a problem with the canvas or the taskbar icons. I heard the Tachi Phone canvas replaces some.

One of the first things I did, but since he named Advanced Config to be in the ROM, I reported it missing..

Problem solved. I will post an updated rom today evening or tomorrow morning that fix this issue .

This update will fix the following bugs reported:
. Some apps is necessary to Click hard (File explorer, RssHub, etc). Conflit with WM.6.5 resolved.
. In call tweak not working properly fixed
. Crash message when clicking in message tab no longer heappens.

Also added Opera 16643 left behind in the previous Rom by mistake, a new splash screen related with my Rom and maybe a new theme too.

Radio updated OK.

1. Now flash the rom again.
2. Important, after rom flashed do an hard-reset and just in case do not import 6.1 SMS.
3. Test it

Please reply back to me because there is other guys having other small problems with my rom and I am starting to belive that this issues are related with the radio version, as this rom is working just fine in my device with no crashes or bugs.
Or maybe that imported 6.1 SMS. Dont know for sure.

It is related with the imported SMS! Now i hard reset again...and without importing WM6.1 sms...replyed to a sms using TF3D2 and it worked ok.

I only have a strange behavior related to multitasking: if I run other programs (i.e. GpsCycleComputer, messanging) and then go back to Manila home page (Home button) the former program seems to be somehow killed.
The task manager does not show the processes in background and the processes are dead indeed ...

The ROM seems fine and well engineered. Good job!

I only have a strange behavior related to multitasking: if I run other programs (i.e. GpsCycleComputer, messanging) and then go back to Manila home page (Home button) the former program seems to be somehow killed.
The task manager does not show the processes in background and the processes are dead indeed ...

Any suggestion?

Hi pollopollo,

Regarding the multitasking behavior, this Rom has autokill setup and thats why you can see processes in background, but if you want to change this behavior follow the next steps:

. Goto Start than Settings than System and click on the Advanced Config Tool.
. Now, scroll down untill you find HTC Task Manager, select this option and it will expand.
. Click on Auto Kill (enable by default) and bellow chose disable.
. Click Done and say yes to soft reset and after restart Voila your processes will not be kill anymore.

I did not include voice activation programs to save memory. This Rom is stable and fast but it is already loaded with apps. However you can easyly google and install it. ;)

No, I had problems and lot of crashes in the past using Contact Card with facebook integration so i decided not to use it. If I find a stable version of contact card maybe I will include it in my Rom.

Bad news, after install this fix the problem with worldclock is still there plus now I have major issue with Chobit SmartLock (don´t know if you use it) but it is a very cool app.
I am removing this fix from my device now, searching for a better solution.

I think this is a bug but I am not so sure. I have multiple entries in my calander scheduled to run for the same time, when I delete one of them, it stays in the TF3D manilla(Shows the entries that I have and the ones I deleted). The deleted entries disappeared after I restarted my device.

Hi, just reporting that I´ve been using your ROM since the first release, and it´great.

Adding Total Commander and updating the connection manager was a great improvement for me.

Also, since you´re portuguese, I suppose you also miss the T9 for our language. If there is any chance of adding it on your next release, please do it.

Yes it is. Goto Start/Settings/System/Remove Programs and select tsowen taskbar and click remove button. Soft reset and you will have the standard taskbar.;)

Yes replace it with my nbh file (rom).
Just a sugestion, copy your current nbh file to another DIR first. If you dont like my nbh file you can always flash again with your current nbh file.

2. Extract to your desktop
3. Find the files (big task) of your Language and edit and correct them (you can use windows notepad) and then save.
4. Now copy only those files to your Diamond under windows Dir. If the device ask you to overwrite or send a warning like system file Rom or something like that, dont be afraid to select yes.
5.Finally soft reset and the changes you made are now available.

ok, so make sure you're using the correct radio version the chef recommeds. you'll find some of his indications in the previous posts.

also, check if you don't have that weird problem so many people's been having when flashing a 6.5 rom. i had it... if so, just install a stock rom and then get back to this one. it should solve hangs and boot problems.

i've had issues with this rom; firstly it would keep hard reseting whenever i carried out a soft reset...i overcame this this with a hardspl upgrade than again after a while it did it again and then my phone became stuck at boot screen...changing rom this's too risky 4 my taste

I had the same issue on my diamond and almost the same number of tries (just my second time flashing! :).
Look here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=396073 to get the RUU.
Dont use the hard spl to flash the rom.

Get the hard spl in first to guard/protect/later load other stuff to ROM.

So.. the steps:
1. get hard spl done.- i have ONilex 1.40
2. get the correct radio version mentioned in the thread.. search for that radio version in xda. It comes with its own RUU (Rom Update Utility). Just run that RUU, it unzips itself and then run RomUpdateUtility.exe or something similarly named.
3. Get the Diamond RUU or (Diamond Custom RUU if the first doesnt work) and copy this .nbh to the diamond ruu (remove the earlier .nbh there if any) and do it again!

After steps 2 and 3 (i already had step 1), it took me 45 mins tops to get the whole thing up and running!

yes the 262 is very irritating.. :D

My 'tools - TF3D2 Tweak'-folder is empty. So no possibility for me to fix it that way :mad:

Great Rom, really like it.

Unable to get into MMS Options in Messaging though, option is on the menu if I select goto - SMs/MMS then back into menu but nothing runs when I select MMS Options.

Is there another way into MMS Options?

EDIT - Not an issue as the Orange auto config has configured MMS settings correctly.

When i get an sms it doesn't stop the sms tone even if i read it (i've set an MP3 as an sms alert). It stops only if i press END key...

Also the sms alert sound is somewhy controlled by SYSTEM sound tab not RING tab...

Soo, finally i installed the rom,

great improvements ,i must say :)i will test it throughout tomorrow,and will provide feedback

some thing i already noticed, that the rom starts applications a little slow
like i started igo, and it takes 30 seconds, just so the program displays its boot sequence :)

i can compare this to nrg rom, where it takes 20 seconds to load into map
but i think you can improve the speed in later releases :))

I'm trying your ROM, for now the old version but I'm already downloading the new 3.0 I will have soon, but I have some advice for you:

1. Instead of PhoneCanvas Tachi you use iContact? is very fast and usable!
2nd to free ram instead of removing Opera (which + or - everyone uses) can you remove Facebook?
3rd you can put the database to check the weather more extended?
4th to the previous version lacked a decent keypad, I think you have solved with the new (I have yet to try it)

Just insalled these rom & I must say that these rom is the best....But there is one problem......I think g-sensor is not working....pictures in the albums does not auto-rotate...same problem with opera

do you do a hard reset after every flash ?

also, as mentioned above, flash to a stock rom before flashing to the cooked one.

New Keyboard layout with update to be released this Monday including Danish. Finger Keyboard, EZinput 1.5 and Phone Keypad to be included.

I have one minor bug to report. In the programs-tab there are 4 icons at 1 line. After flipping the phone sideways and back, there are only 3.

Also, how do I stop the screen from rotating? Sometimes it annoys me.

1. will release 2 versions. One multilang and another one only english based. This will allow english users to save some memory and exploring windows folder more quicly.
2. it was supose to be clouds but now it is a piece of crap. will change booting animations.

I will have to remove it. It seems there is some conflits with the new keyboard that my upt rom uses.

Buddy this new keyboard is awesome and you can customize your own shortcuts, plus will have layouts for many languages which the current one does not support.

But do not worry, you can test it and if you dont like it, I will create the same ROM for you with all the updates but only with the current keyboard that you love so much.

I searched through the language files and separated the ones I need (Romanian), made some minor changes and translated the rest of the English files that were not translated =)
Still, I got the feeling that some of the files are missing and Manila is not entirely translated and vice-versa: there are files that are not present in this Manila release.
So, could you please provide all the original English files so I can translate all scenarios for my specific lang version?

Also, I have noticed that there are lang files for the facebook engine. Is there any particular reason why you decided not to include it in your ROM?

If you don't plan to include it in the next releases I would really appreciate if you could also provide a separate cab file to install the facebook engine.

This ROM is totally useless for me. Updated from the previous one last saturday. Untill now I had to do 6 hard resets to get it going again.

It freezes on several moments. The first time shortly after I rolled out the back-up. Nothing worked anymore, was stuck on the home-screen. After a soft reset it didn't come past the 'touch diamond'-screen. Had to do a hard reset after that.
Then when all was installed again I activated the connectionmanager and it got stuck again. Waited for 30min, but nothing happened. Had to do a hard reset again like before. The third time I did a clean reinstall and no back-up or anything. I only adjusted the tabs in the TF3D and it got stuck again.

This goes on and on untill now.

I'm getting rid of this ROM, the first chance I get. That is when it doesn't get stuck before I get active sync working and flashing it.

Edit: Removed the ROM amd replaced it with an original ROM. Than flashed to the newest version of this ROM and working like a charm again. Seems like I'll stick around.

I had the same problem, although I don't think it's related to this rom as it started to happen to every rom I flashed. I fixed it by flashing an original HTC rom.

I have read a few things about that. For now my confidence with cooked ROMs is very low, since it's more trouble than gain.

I will try to install a original ROM and than flash to the latest version of this one. If that doesn't work, I'm out.

An error occured while loading TouchFLO 3D configuration. Its not possible to change the sequence of buttons in TouchFLO 3D. I would like to place "programs" in second position.
