Tiny Twitter Continually Forcing Data Connection

I've installed TinyTwitter on my HTC Touch Dual & love it. It's great, easy to use & fast. But unfortunately I've just discovered a huge problem,. It seems to continually be forcing a data connection even when the app is closed. Anyone else having this trouble or know a solution

I have a Touch Pro and I discovered the same problem, each time open de app create a new process but when I close the process continues loaded so I need to close (terminate) with task manager
