Herm100 to Herm200!!!

Hello friends!!!
i am very much new in this field. i have Orange SPV M3100. i updated its Rom to K's Rom. My WIFI was dead. i read the thread "dead wlan due to erased EEPROM" which helped me out to solve my problem. but during this process, i dont know when, my Herm100 converted to Herm200.
now the problems i am facing are that i cant SOFT RESET my herm using stylus. i want to update Rom using SD card, but as i cant soft reset, so i cant.
i will be very thankful to all u guys for helping me to solve my problem. i am alreadt thankful to XDA_DEVELOPERS.
plz explain in detail.

you can use the power button or take out the battery to reset.

thanks brother, but i thought taking out battery might cause some problem to my Hermes. anyways, i am already using the same method. but the question is
"why my hermes doesnot soft reset when i put the stylus in the reset hole"
what might be the problem?

if your presing and not soft or reset , maybe your reset button its broken or need a resoldering this (internal) for check you need open the htc and check the pins conectors its correctly soldering to pcb, it is in warranty go to your SAT:)
