I have found a lot of post in the xda already, but not yet found the answer...

I have both HD and Topaz, orginally the manila of HD is very lag and slow campare to Topaz's manila, so I flashed the rom ported from official topaz. Although the speed improved to same level, the smoothness is significantly lag...:(
I known that DDI.dll is highly related to the 2D graphic ability of the devices, so I check out the DDI.dll of both devices, the HD's dll a 224kb file and Topaz's is 262kb, when I manage to replace HD's DDI.dll, I failed to copy, from the xda, I found out DDI.dll is located in XIP, so that it is not copy-able.
[Question]
1.Is that my HD will become a brick if I flash the DDI.dll extracted from Topaz?
2.Did anyone tried to flash only XIP into the device?? Is it risky?
