4. Options...

I'd say this is the best 6.5 ROM I have tried, except with a minor problem -- I can choose to use any ringtone, but when the phone rings, it always resets to "Ring01 - WindowsPhone".

i did try your rom and first it went well (flash and setup of device) but after a while the device was frozen and not reacting on any key.
I made a reset after wich the device started the customizing again what oviously failed since the programs where there - i could check that from the PC's by the Windows Mobile Connection.
When i did a Reset again it never passed the boot screen so i decided to make again some Hardreset and have the Settings restored to factory default.
But even now the device wont start again.

So i started the process of flashing from internal Rom again - again i was able to configure the device and use it for about 4 hours until it got frozen again and the whole story started over.

Beside that - i had to disable "enable faster transfer" in the usb settings to get Active Sync recognizing the phone - something i had no issue flashing a default rom ceated with the Juli Rom Kitchen 2.0.

As i did browse throu the Form i found some statements that there is a issue with screen lock - wich is enforced by the exchange policy on my site.
->Can you confirm this for your ROM?

->In short: Any idea how to trouble shoot or fix the problem is welcome.

Very nice ROM, I have been runing it for two days now. I would suggest adding restart so that the Windows menu can be customized. Other than that it is very fast and very stable. Thanks for the ROM.

I'm using this rom from about 2 days and I can say it's one of the better i've tested.

But some "bugs" :

- Only English language is available. If the OS is in English it's not a problem for me, but dictionnary xt9 is only available in english. Is there a cab to install more languages. I'm searching about French.

- In WorldClock the "menu" button don't make nothing. I can't rearrange or delete some cities. When i push "menu" button nothing appear.

- In phone, the "Talk" button don't function!

- Is there a way to have more keyboards. To write sms I always use "phone keyboard" but here it's not available

But I can say this rom is very good! Good Work!

You did something wrong or overwrite the file. You can flash it again or do a hardreset and try to remove cities without install any wrong files.

You must flash the rom again (bad flashed). Do Hardreset after finish flashed.
PS: you have to flasing the Official ROM first ( reorganize the rom structure) and the flashing my ROM.

All that it takes is some "search" function - for operas - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=486502 - select your favorite, voice dial link in first post - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=440683 - just select this one - (ROM + kitchen + CAB repository),navigate down on the page,it is there, as for iexplore - navigate to Windows folder, locate iexplore.exe, click right button, click copy, then navigate to windows/start menu/programs, click menu, then edit, then paste shortcut, then rename the shortcut to your liking :). Make sure you install everything in the device memory.

You can flash the rom manuell. Copy the rom file into your device storage and press volumm down + hold buttons and softreset to get the boot screen. Now you can follow the screen.

I did an Update of HardSPL from Version 1.24 to 1.34 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=408621) and a Hardreset [Volume Down + Enter +Reset]. After i did Check the Version of HardSPL by [Volume Down+Reset] and then Flash your Rom again - this time from PC and not from internal Memory. Now it seems to be stable.

just two simple remarks, for an excellent ROM so far. Respect for the good work..
1. When the clock is pressed in TFL on the home screen, the menu (right hand button) does not work !!??
2. You have two calculator in the system, it is taking some memory i think. (you can check for some other doubled-stuff around. I will see myself too)..

Hey, i did not install any softwares on the device. When i sync my contacts, then the TF3D2 crashes, however it occurs right after a sync.

just a something i am wondering about...

most roms have a setting in the comm manager where you can turn 3g on/off. i see where you can go into phone settings and change the bands manually but this is much slower/painful.... is there any other way to do or add that feature to this rom.

Correct me if I am wrong but i beleive there are issues with the Bluetooth task bar icon & Headset icon when using Tachi dialers.

I stood corrected....The bug is there actually when you try dialing from Manila People's (fav) Tab....

When you try pressing the Mobile or home number underneath the images. It jus dials the mobile number only....irrespective of the number pressed.

I don't remember from who's kitchen. I cooked the ROMs so long time now, i know how it's gone. I am not a new chef.

Come on guys. Is it really worth getting pissed off about this kinda thing. Memory isn't much, only 23-24MB. I don't like it and maybe you can try to use for a short time.

I have also bluetooth broblem and a while of use touchflo keeps crashing (i can`t use it all). And as earlier is mentioner there is huge memory leak.

Earlier i managed to get weather working.

Anyway. Keep going to work. Hope the next version is better:)

3. THe problem in people tab, as already mentioned: irrespective of the button pressed under the image It only dials the mobile number.

Even if we download it from the OEM repository....its not working.

Many thanks for your work ! I have tried many roms and so far the first one, 21806 is working far better than 21812, let me explain my observations.

1)
I flashed 21812 and all seemed OK until I added my contacts using PIM Backup. When I used the people tab followed with 'all people. as soon as you try to vertically scroll through the alphabet link touch flo closes and will not open again, it crashes.

2)
In both versions I used to be able to tap and hold on an EXE file in the storage and 'add to programs menu' , is this option available ?

3)
On other ROMS the volume is far more intuitive and finger friendly than the standard WM6.5, is there a way to install this as an extra CAB file ?

4)
I love the scrolling sound from TouchFlo but unfortunately the TouchFlo options are not available through 'Settings'. I have installed Schap's Advanced Config tool and notice 'Enable sound when scrolling in TouchFlo' is already enabled but it does not actually work, you hear no sound. Am I missing something, is there aregistry tweak available ?

As for RAM, should be pretty much the same as the previous version (V2), unless chef has added/removed stuff. Perhaps if he actually bothered with a changelog, I could tell you for definite. :)

have been using v2.now going to download v3 tonight. the album was not very comfortable as the zoom was very limited , lets see if it is the same. pictures rotate on their own, t that's also a hassle . used opera 9.7 on its own, also was difficult to save some pics . hope this is a better build. is there a phone pad for typing? anyway thanks.

My mobile phone was slower and slower with time, incomming call was first displayed with the lights. Some seconds, between 5 and 10, later comes the caller info. Memory usage was 77% only. Anyway I tried a reboot yesterday evening. Phone didn't start up. Lights are on, display background light also on, but boot process stopped at this point. Tried some soft resets.
Did the second hard reset.
Same situation now as yesterday evening, phone will no longer booting up.
Have to do the 3rd hard reset now.

Does someone have similars problems with this V3 Build?

remove the battery, let the phone stay without battery for 5 minutes and retry.........

My phone keep hard reseting after i flashed the v3 into my diamond. When i first booted and entered the infomation required and then it did an auto soft reset. But when it booted. I have to do the same thing as what i did when i flashed my phone for the first time. Now i am stuck at the booting and unable to reach the td3d state. After I have flashed my phone, it gives me the message "Touch Diamond" on the screen and then disapears and come back again and again.

In fact, it does that with any custom ROM I try.

I have flashed V3. The ROM seems to run stable and has sufficient free memory.
I have not had issues (yet) with resetting as other users indicated.
I personally don't care for the FNG keyboard, but I was able to install EZtouch 2.

I noticed I cannot scroll all the way to the bottom of long lists. When I view Today on the calendar and it has many items on it, the bottom most item is off the screen. I am not able to scroll to it and select it. It's almost like it thinks the screen is longer than it really is.
I see the calendar run down behind Manilla on the Today screen. I haven't seen that before. I also was not able to get to the bottom ringtone in my ringtone list.

One other weird thing I noticed. When I looked at my girlfriends contact, it tells me she is '34 years old'. She's 35. (birthday of Feb 1974) The birthday date is shown correct (year is correct too). The date on the phone is correct (year too). Somewhere the math is wrong. I've never looked at this on other ROMs, so I don't know if it is a common problem. I did check my son's birthday. (Oct 1994) It shows he is 14. That is correct. Strange.

Hi. Flashed your ROM a few days ago. Restored my PIM infor via PimBackup. After that, had many problems with the ROM.

1) SMS would not be able to send to multiple recipients (SMS app will close automatically).
2) TF3D2 will sometimes hang and not move.
3) Device will hang after connecting to PC on Disk Drive mode

Worst still, today after I unplugged the Diamond from USB Disk Drive, the device hang. After I soft reset, the device hard reset by itself and I had all my information wiped clean.

Is there something that I'm doing wrong?
