Diamond Rom update failed PLEASE HELP!!!

I tryed to update my HTC Diamond to the one on HTC site dated : 2009-02-27.

At the end of the update i got a ROM image corrupt message and the windows app finished.
I had to go out and hoped that the battery would hold until i could try again.
But sadly not.

Now the phone wont turn on at all.
Can anyone help??????

First of all the diamond charges up even if its switched off.......charge it up fr 2 or 3 hours then try the RUU again. This should mostly get it back working, and make sure you follow every instruction no matter however small it is, it might end up saving your diamond from becoming a pretty paperweight.

i got the same problem, too. it said "error [270]" the image was corrupt or something. was there something different? because it was successful when i first did it a few months ago (but unfortunately i deleted that old file) and now it wouldnt work :(
