I found this clock originally in the forum about "manilla2d", the ported version of TouchFlo 2D. I couldn't get it to work on my Touch Viva. It kept saying "Tap here to launch TouchFlo" after I installed it. I finally realized it was installing into the wrong directory, so I recreated the .cab file with the correct settings and installed it. Now it works fine, so you can have a large digital clock on your Touch Viva.

Just to make it clear, I didn't create the clock. The credit for that goes to pcarvalho. I just fixed the .cab file to work on an original install of TouchFlo.

Tested on Touch Viva (T2223) running Windows Mobile 6.1 and TouchFlo 2D.

This only works on an ORIGINAL install of TouchFlo 2D. I don't know what the TYTN II is running. The main problem with this one was that it installed everything in the "%CE%" directory, but Windows Mobile 6.1 doesn't have a "%CE%" directory. Check to see what your main Windows directory is and where the files are being installed.

I think that is a setting in your clock settings, or perhaps the TouchFlo settings. All this really is, is a set of PNG files your phone can use for a clock, with no settings, etc. Try tapping on the clock, and check out the settings there.

Have you tried uninstall it? Does it change back to original clock?

Thanks

No, I haven't tried to uninstall this version (because it works fine on my phone, and I like the clock). However, when it wasn't installing correctly, and I couldn't get it to work, I could always uninstall it and it reverted back to the original clock. If you go to "remove programs" and uninstall it from there, I believe it restores the original files that were replaced by the ones for this clock.

To install this clock on your phone, you need to download the .cab file (at the beginning of this thread) to your phone. Then use "File Explorer" to find the .cab file on your phone and open it. It will install. Then, you can do a soft reset, if you like, but I don't think it is necessary.

The clock is basically a set of PNG images that are laid over each other. For example, there is a PNG with all the numbers on it and another for the background. If you created a new background PNG and then installed it using a .cab file, it should replace the one that is there now.
