Unable to flash directly from phone

I follow all the instaructions from this tread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=2707841&postcount=4035 but i can't flash i don't see the 3 color screen it goes in the splash screen

press and hold Volume down, press and hold the back <
and then press and hold the red reset button with your stylus for 2 seconds.
then release only the red reset button .

lol, because you don't have three hands, do it like this:
reset (red small button on the back of the device), and after that immediately hold the volume down and back key (<-) :) this works, i've been flashing from internal storage for a very long time :)
