It started to blink orange and green led sequentially and start to discharge battery until it turn off itself and then started to charge (led turned to orange). Discharge didnt take even 10min (20% -> 0%). It has never done this before and i am wondering if this is normal at all? :eek:
I turned phone on right after it started to charge and battery meter allready show over 50%...

A nice looking and fast rom, thanks a lot for your hard work.

I figured out the following bugs:

-I can confirm the favourites bug in Opera. Sometimes Opera freezes. Topaz zoombar not working in Opera.
-Resco Explorer is starting in tree view. It is not possible to change this.
-Quick GPS is not auto downloading when connecting to ActiveSync (using 4.5 and Windows XP).

It would be really nice to get a solution for the opera 9.7 bugs.

try perform hard reset right after flashing progress. i'm not facing this problem so i just can tell to hard reset or even re-flashing throught bootloader mode ;)

Thanks for this ROM.

It is fast and the programs tab is great because going to Start, then folder after folder is a pain.

One bug I noticed is one that has been in a few ROMS (but fixed in others):

When I go to Start --> Settings or to other icons/folders as soon as I finish the screen goes to the home tab. It is annoying if you need to change multiple settings or access more apps.

Me too. I prefer Manila 2.1, cause it has a seperate program tab, the home screen shows more appointments and it is much faster than 2.5/2.6.

Waiting for your new 2.1 version :). Maybe you can leave out the software that is now available from windows market (WinLive, MyPhone, etc....). Then everybody can install what he/she likes. A fixed Opera 9.7 would be great too :).

Please if you want to trial 2.5 please also post update with 2.1 so we can try them both and give our opinons.

2.1 over 2.5 as above plus pressing a contact brings up contact options that are available.

Great rom keep trying latest roms but always fall back to yours because of ease of use.

Everything seems to work fine. The problem with Resco Explorer starting in tree view is solved. The rom seems to be stable and fast, the lock screen is nice and the start menu icons fit to the whole layout. The only thing, that is a bit annoying ist the Manila clock flipping 1 hour and one minute, but I guess, thats the tribute to the new Manila version.

Any chance to get a working Opera 9.7 version later on in a cab?

This rom is an absolutly keeper for me (cause I don´t need Sense Leo).

The signal strengh seems correct for me. You can get "Windows Live" on "Marketplace" for free.

Signal bar for me show no bars at all most of the time.
Used to get 3 ( or more ) at same location with Dutty`s.

I have a small question , did you do something special to winmo 6.5 ? I normally use pureblack2 as windowstheme , but it give 's me top and bottom borders I normally do not see, and it doesn't change the background of the startmenu as it usually does ... Don't get me wrong, I like your ultimate theme, but I dislike the red that is mixed in it ( you see it when an app is installing (red squares)and when you press the down arrow of the taskbar in the top right corner, the taskmanager has red higlight.

...but I dislike the red that is mixed in it ( you see it when an app is installing (red squares)and when you press the down arrow of the taskbar in the top right corner, the taskmanager has red higlight.

I have changed the red colour (colour for "highlighted" Text) with "SK-Tools" to grey. But its no freeware. Maybe it can be changed manually, but I can´t see, what exactly "SK-Tools" is changing.

I tried to use other Manila tab icons, but had no success. Got bad grafics on the Manila tab bar. Does anyone has a working .cab with the old black and white or not so colourful Manila tab icons?

:confused::confused: Strange thing happened ..I send a text message and after a while I received a test message from William Archbell , which locked up my phone ... did a hardreset , send a text message and again the same test message and system lock up, tried it now for four times each time with hard reset and every time I get test message from William Archbell and my system locks up :confused::confused:


Found the problem, I have a modified manilafile "47dd6acd_manila" which I usually copy to the windowsfolder, it gives me a bigger/bold font in the manilamessage tab , because the standard text is too thin for me .. when I copy this file I get the test message .. strange, never had this before :(

Can´t you change the order of the cities in the menu in the weather tab? I have only my location activated, but I guess this is possible?!

Are you in St. Petersburg at the moment or is the "My Location" feature not working for you. If it is not working correct, deactivate it (in settings). Then set My Location in the "world clock" to the city, you have manually choosed. Now the weather of this city should appear on the homescreen. This worked on the older Manila 2.1 with weather, but I´m not sure, if it is working in this new version too.

Thanks. I tried it without success. It seems, that changing the Manila tab icons is not possible, maybe cause the existing icon sets do not fit into this new Manila 2.1 version :(.

you can't change icons from 2.5 to 2.1 coz guess it's a different files and sizes.

:confused::confused: Strange thing happened ..I send a text message and after a while I received a test message from William Archbell , which locked up my phone ... did a hardreset , send a text message and again the same test message and system lock up, tried it now for four times each time with hard reset and every time I get test message from William Archbell and my system locks up :confused::confused:


Found the problem, I have a modified manilafile "47dd6acd_manila" which I usually copy to the windowsfolder, it gives me a bigger/bold font in the manilamessage tab , because the standard text is too thin for me .. when I copy this file I get the test message .. strange, never had this before :(

just known about this trick but please remind this manila version was a latest version and might be had a lill different from an older ones ;)

I have a small question , did you do something special to winmo 6.5 ? I normally use pureblack2 as windowstheme , but it give 's me top and bottom borders I normally do not see, and it doesn't change the background of the startmenu as it usually does ... Don't get me wrong, I like your ultimate theme, but I dislike the red that is mixed in it ( you see it when an app is installing (red squares)and when you press the down arrow of the taskbar in the top right corner, the taskmanager has red higlight.

I know, found "Windows Live" and installed it.
Signal bar for me show no bars at all most of the time.
Used to get 3 ( or more ) at same location with Dutty`s.

But i do love this rom, it's fast and stable

sorry forget to mention i had remove windows live and my phone and did update marketplace to the lastest one ;)
try hard reset your device for bar signal problem hope this is help. i got full signal at my home as allways.

Your new rom is great again :)!

Everything seems to work fine. The problem with Resco Explorer starting in tree view is solved. The rom seems to be stable and fast, the lock screen is nice and the start menu icons fit to the whole layout. The only thing, that is a bit annoying ist the Manila clock flipping 1 hour and one minute, but I guess, thats the tribute to the new Manila version.

Any chance to get a working Opera 9.7 version later on in a cab?

This rom is an absolutly keeper for me (cause I don´t need Sense Leo).

Hmm its done it twice more, the only thing i can see is i use an auto screen lock after 1min, but with other ROMs this is not an issue.

I thought, you had a problem with installing a WLan connection at your home, maybe I misunderstood something :). WiFi with your rom works perfect :).

I installed Opera 9.7 build 35461 and it seems to work.

- I need chinese and installed "RickyMSYH6ChineseSupport" and "HTC Rhodium A4 IME V2.8 WVGA";
- all was OK until Touch Input start to look like Phone Keypad even if I choose Full QWERTY or Compact QWERTY; but the input is not 100% like Phone Keypad... have all numbers but placed in right-top corner have "p" and "w" ?!?! :confused:

Did somebody else find this bug? Do you know hot to fix it?

hi guys, i don't know, whether this information is here, so i write it.

i had hard spl 1.33olinex and had rom XtremeV4, but when i tried to move to V5, it killed my phone. As i've found out later, you need to change the hard spl to version 1.83 (and the phone is not dead:) )

I am not sure if it had been asked. I've done a search but my problem is not identical to the others who asked about using DEFAULT Wallpaper.

I know Animated Full Screen Weather only works with "Default Wallpaper"; however, I realized that it stops working after I used the device for a while (like 30 mins?). But everything works again after I soft reset... Is it a known bug wit M2.1 Animated Weather Home Tab? Or it is just something with my phone's configurations?

I used to use your ROMs a lot on my Tilt - and I would love to try some on my Pure - but I am hooked on 6.5.1 and Sense 2.5 with the controls on the bottom leaving the top open for WKTASK - which with its wonderful pop-up launcher (I reprogram it to just push and hold the top right corner to active the launcher)- I defy anyone to figure out a more useful interface! Plus simple active task's icons on the now cleared out top bar - its paradise.

So that said, please apply your great burning talents to the latest greatest!

Can you manage to have "delivery report" shows the name of recipient instead of showing only number?
Like this: "The message you sent was delivered to Jack". NOT "The message you sent was delivered to +668579.... "

I tried your ROM abusalza real quick just to try it out. Really great, only thing I've noticed is texting seems a little unresponsive/slow. I noticed that the keyboard layout is a little different on yours (space is bigger) than the TESS for example..
Would you consider cooking a ROM with that EZInput version of TESS?

I have a weird bug !
Sometime when I go of stand by or unplug the AC, the Battery & Backlight screen pops up !
Am I the only one ? :confused:

Beside this, no problem at all, I don't really see a difference between this keyboard and others.

Using this ROM in french (manila + keyboard) and it is the only recent ROM where all notifications (sound + led + number in bottom bar) work for mail + mms + sms, from ON or Stand By. I have noticed this in 21877, 21882 and 21884.

And no abnormal battery drain despite the 2.18 drivers.

Thanks man...but it doesn't seem to work...I have deleted the options in G-config but it still goes into landscape mode when tilted.
Anyway i found another bug with both v8 and v9...
When leaving the wifi on and the phone goes into standby, when re-awakening the phone, the phone does not reconnect to wifi. When going into com manager, the wifi option is still on. Only by clicking a few times on the on and off button will the wifi be turn on

The interface on the bottom is MUCH NICER as are the newer Sense features.

X-Treme2.V9.Premium2.5 is great, fast and beautiful.
I only have one question.
Why does not appear when turned on Wi-Fi?
After switching on and off wi-fi router everything is ok.

Back hardware button does not work... is it normal with this ROM. I have hardreset 2 times after the first flash. Does not work.

Please help. Every thing else works perfect. (Back Arrow) hardware does not work. Installed other ROM, the button works perfect. But I am quite keen to use this ROM. if this problem is sorted out.

I really like this rom...especially the battery usage so far seems very good. And the top home screen icons are very nice as well :)

An issue though. Weather updating is rather buggy...first of all it took a long time to find My Location the first time (after flashing rom and doing hard reset). After updating once it won't update anymore afterwards. After a fresh restart of the phone, updating works again....but a while later, not anymore. I checked my data connections and those work fine with QuickGPS, Opera and Google Maps.

This is the error message : "Connection error : there was a connection error while attempting to download weather data. Retry?"

Edit : after testing, it's clear to me that the issue originates from the Weather tab. Whenever I choose to NOT go to the weather tab, all weather updates on the Home screen function perfectly. No issues whatsoever. However after going to the weather tab and the update process starts up, it never completes...and returns the error message as I mentioned before. Anyone having the same issue and maybe a solution?

I also found out that after installing the "WM6.5 Start Menu 4x7.cab" it won't have any effect...start menu icons remain as in original rom. Too bad, as I really like the 4x7 icons...

Thanks man...but it doesn't seem to work...I have deleted the options in G-config but it still goes into landscape mode when tilted.
Anyway i found another bug with both v8 and v9...
When leaving the wifi on and the phone goes into standby, when re-awakening the phone, the phone does not reconnect to wifi. When going into com manager, the wifi option is still on. Only by clicking a few times on the on and off button will the wifi be turn on

If it behaves like other roms with WIFI tweak, it will reconnect wifi when a application tries to use it. That way you can leave wifi enabled in communication manager and get wifi on demand without wasting battery.

Try it, connect to a accesspoint, put phone to sleep (power button) for 30 sek, then press power button and try and go on the web, then you will se wifi start to connect.

sorry forgot the registry but u can delete manually throught g-config. or u can delete all and re-set them all

Abusalza just wondering if you are going to continue support of your other roms ? like Ultimate-X2.V11 -23017 for the tilt ? Been a lot of users wondering if you are:)

I really liked the action screen on this ROM, but haven't been able to find it anywhere else. any chance of getting a .cab version of that?

I have tried about 4 roms, including x-treme, dutty and a bunch others... all have the same problem, and it is that when i someone calls me, most times i slide the bar to answer, it lags and usually wont pick up unless i continuely force the bar to the left and keep clicking the answer hard key, it basically lags a long time.


any help?

Use green hard button for the incoming answer...dont need touch sreen for it.

I think I am going to call HTC and probably do an RMA, it seems to be a phone problem. It's gone beyond ridiculous, colleges and friends have called me and i can't pick up, it angers me beyond belief. how can i restore the phone to original flash?

I have a problem with this ROM. (V10 WM6.1)
Everything is OK but installing the cabs.

When I try to install any cab it wrote me "Instalation of ... was unsuccessful."
I tried a lot of cabs and all of them are the same :(

No. You have to search for Rhodium ROMs in the Rhodium forum. ROMs can be used only on the phones they are made for.

This is one of the best ROM for D2 – Topaz nice, fastest, small footprint memory –internal memory and RAM usage:eek:, quite stable BUT with a major inconvenient: BATTERY drain to fast. Can you look at RUU_Duttys_Topaz_WM6.5_Leo_R8_LP)_RTM. I found this is one of the best battery usage and stable… but old now.
Can you apply same tweaks, and disable services and app that wake up D2 and drain battery so fast?:)
