this is pretty nice stuff.

the start button seems to go a little blurry sometimes, and is their a way to change the color of the menus? they always appear blue. other than that its pretty sweet stuff. adds to the 6.5 feel, i like it :)

yeah,you can chang the color,the pics are png format,chang the color with photoshop or anyother tools.

good job with the cab. I personally just converted the blue pngs to greyscale to match my grey theme. But looks good. Thanks for the effort!

in your registry HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Today. adjust the Dword registry's until you have it the way you want, it might take awhile.

ooo.... i thought you build it from this thread.
my problem is i cannot install this app corectly...

btw: if you want to change it, you have to know the structure of the files. download the files in this thread. open it. change the image as you like, replace it to your windows folder. that's it.

i hope it will help. if i can install it corectly, i will give you the guide. ;);););)

The reason why you can't use this type of menu on some builds >21812 is because the app "gwes.exe" from newer builds (23017, 28004, 23121, etc) is not compatible with this modification....All you need to do is use a compatible "gwes.exe" in your kitchen... :D try and see

are you ROM developer or you just want to edit the menu theme?

if you change the image from your menu, you have to make it exactly like original one. the size, format, etc. because it has specific size, position, etc in every image.

i have already try to change the color and no problem at all. i change the image also.

i did those changes by replace original file in windows with my custom, restart.

now, i'm trying to solve you problem.... i hope it will finish soon.

You don't show your screen capture, so i don't know exactly your problem is.

i repeat once again:
thinner? yes it can... aitrus already gave the registry, compare with original that come from this thread. i also give the cab so you can install easily.
and you can do it manually by edit the registry using regedit program.

change the color? yes it can.... find the related files from \windows, edit it with image editor or whatever that can edit image... replace to original one, restart.

i've already done this trick and it's works.
