*Flashing Guide
SAFEST WAY TO FLASH YOUR ROM IS THROUGH STORAGE CARD METHOD:

* Copy TOPAIMG.NBH into the root dir of your Storage Card.
* Be sure to have at least 30% of charge.
* Turn off your device by using the Power Button.
* Go to Boot loader mode. Push and hold Vol. Down + press Power button.
* After that your device with have a white screen with text " Press to power button for continue upgrade or Press Volume down button for cancel upgrade , select press to power button and it will start upgrade Rom.

Don't try yet , but i think if u use keyboard software supporting Danish, so u can write and it will show normal in Manila.

It's because PhoneCanvas is from Rhodium (TouchPro2) and that has proximity sensor, so it doesn't need curtain...Rhodium PhoneCanvas allows landscape mode... that's why.. :)

That may well be but I want the screen to lock so keeping the phone to my face does not cause unwanted keypresses. All touch phones have this...

just a smaill notice! their is some mistake (not bug)!

After flashed this rom. if you set alarm with out set "alarm-tone" which default set is "Alarm-light". your D2 will not wake up up since this rom don't have "Alarm-light" tone.

you need to check it to other sound such as "Alarm 2" and "Alarm 5"



Anyhow!!! your ROM is great so far and I just notice I can get a "Greenlight" after charge which I was not able to go green charge while turn-on device (as a charge's bug) before

Testes the ROM over the weekend, its stable, but not fast and is not as responsive as the stock ROM, also I have a Bt issue, whereby after every call it auto disconnects (all BT settings are ok).

But, the battery life is just so much better the handset does not seem to get hot just sat in my pocket.

Great work tom seems that all is more stable and some new little features are amazing, but may be some file is missing on this rom. When i try to run the light3D program (a 3d benchmarking test) a message appear, translated from the Spanish rom:

another interesting thing: it seems that screen rotation doesn't work until i go into windows mobile, there i rotate the screen and then go back to touchflo - now it starts working in touchflo as well. just me?

What exactly is happening? Does your Topaz connect to ActiveSync? Did you try to switch off the "Enable faster data synchronisation" in Settings->Connections->USB to PC? :confused:

I have a lot of music on my storage card. If I try to play this music with the touchflo music player in this ROM, it only plays about the first 40 seconds and then the music stops. I cant continue playing. I use the built in speaker for the sound...do other people have this problem?
Edit: the problem persists when using the earphones. However, when using windows media player on the same files, everything plays normally. What could be the problem here?

Apparently net cf 3.7 has removed DirectX. That's probably due to the fact that 3.7 is a beta for 4.0.

I have a question in the manila or touchflo 3d i am having a major time stamp issue with my text messages especially in the contact card threaded text mesaging, i installed the time stamp fix from previous threads on xda but my incoming text are still reading 5 minutes fast this is an example of what i mean the time is 12:15 pm,

I have s small problem with GER-Edition. When the phone is locked and the sceen turned off, there sometimes is a "messed up" screen (grey and some black lines) when I turn the screen on. Turning the screen off an on again fix it.

Anyone else with this problem?

However I am experiencing an annoying problem, which maybe isn't related to the ROM..My wifi connection is very unstable,eg. youtube videos load and run well but web surfing is very very slow,unusable. Wifi range is less,compared to my beloved old Artemis and usually it doesn't resolve ip addresses, even if it says "Connected" in wifi settings. I installed Netfront 3.5 but didnt change a thing. Any advice? My questions are:
1) Can it be a radio bug or some incompatibility with my Linksys WAG54G2?(tried both latest radios)
2)Now that my device is HardSPL, can I return to an official ROM (just to see if there's a difference..) without any intermediate steps?

Not sure this has been covered before but here are the issues I found: -

1. G Sensor does not seem to work in the slideshow

2. Text in opera does not reflow if zooming using the zoom bar

3. Power settings does not allow override control of backlight when on External Power when Auto Adjust Backlight is checked

5. Consider adding GB-SOFT GPRS/UMTS Tweak into your ROM

6. Consider adding the 4 icon tweak into your ROM

Apart from that liking your clean simple ROM, keep up the good work

My question is am I able to unpack your ROM to use it as the base for my own personal ROM or is that considered bad etiquette (I'm still a noob) or is it impossible?

I think most ROM chefs are okay with ROMs being edited for personal use, though releasing it is less widely done. I'm personally not against anyone using my ROMs as a base, but tom_codon may feel differently.

You may also have a hard time dumping this ROM as tom_codon uses Platform Rebuilder...

I think our Chief is busy cooking the 6.5 ROM, as I already shift to use TOM WM6.5 ROM.

The WM6.5 ROM is great and running as fast as 6.1. :)

You might want to give it a try. :)

I totally agree with u my friend, besides 6.1 is almost "dead", and like it or not, WM 6.5 is the next step of OS development.

Luckily that the topaz is able to support WM 6.5 better.

Sometime people will still prefer WM 6.1 for the meantime is because WM 6.1 is "official release" and WM 6.5 not yet.

Initially, I was very reluctant to use WM 6.5, and that is 1 of the weekend and got nothing better to do, so I flash this TOM WM 6.5 ROM, since them, I stuck with WM 6.5. :)

Hope all the friends here enjoy the WM 6.5 ROM cook by all the cookers. :)

Consider the battery & stablebility, WM 6.1 seem to be on upper hand, but for WM 6.5, so far so good. I use my TD2 in daily biz, receiving email (sync with office exchange server), remote desktop, calendar update, contact, ... so far so good.

Just remember that HTC already abandoned WM 6.1 development on Topaz, roms based on official build 2.0x, are already WM 6.5.
Hence, WM 6.1 is not totally bugfree, just look at the bugfixes on HTC support page for WM 6.1 on Topaz.
Toms newest rom based on Official build 2.03 is just excelent, fast and stable enoguh for any kind of use.
Personally i expected a bit more of WM 6.5, but now i just can´t look at WM 6.1, it´s an old OS, with an old interface.

I have a small problem with the bluetooth and more particularly with a stereo headset (Plantronics 260) I can not configure it to play music ... anything I can do is put in the kit man, with the sfr rom I do not have that problem.
Otherwise, bravo for this rom, the super cuisto :-)

Is there a way to turn off Manila auto rotation in your ROM? Sometimes when I receive a call, my Topaz is in Landscape mode and I don't see the caller ID and caller Picture, just the Manila start page in Landscape which I find little bit annoying. Could you tell me a registry hack to turn auto rotation just for Manila off, I don't need it.

Good evening together.

I downloaded and installed this rom last friday.
In past i used the standard htc rom.

Before i installed this rom my battery works for about 160h standby with 1h calling and 2 hours of use.
Now it is my second charge with this rom. At the moment i have 70% battery and only 9h standby and 1h use.

Someone have the same problem? Whats going on with this rom? What drain my battery life so much?

On the commanager i have the option to activate or deactivate 3g. But i can`t change it, its all the time off but at the moment i use 3g if i take a look at the provider.

Do turn it off in Telephone/settings/band once - afterwards it should work - it did in my case :)

Tom, in ROM 1.1 RUS A2DP not working! I'm try with my Clip Music 801 (BT stereo headset)

A2DP and SRS WOW working (patched version 1.5.1) in ROM 6.5 206 but this ROM hang my device periodically

using a registry editor: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\A utoRotation and change the value to 0 (instead of 1)

if you want to rotate screen manually: HKLM\System\GDI\Rotation\Hide\OrientationUI and change to 0. now you can assign screen rotation to answer button (long press)

Here's my workaround to disable Manila and Phone pad autorotation, for those who are interested in:

Disable Manila autorotation:

1) Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\W hiteList
2) Rename Manila string value to Manila0 (or whatever, just rename it)
3) Soft Reset


Disable Phone pad autorotation:

1) Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\M oduleName
2) Rename Phone/Lock/Compose/Pictures string value to \Windows\cprog0.exe
3) Soft Reset

To restore previous settings just remove the "0"s that where added when renaming
