Hi everyone,
I flashed 2.7.1final today (like 6 hours ago) and after 2 hours of pinching it (installing my base, Resco Explorer, Hologram etc.. Just basic stuff), I let it sleep and had a movie. (I did have a final soft-reset before leaving it and it was all-right by then)

When I got it again, TF3D had lost the tabs (see the 3 sample screenshots below). No matter what I did, couldn't bring them back. Somehow, the UI behaves as if it's WVGA or something, and the tabs are out of screen real estate.

Note that horizontal scrolling between tabs work (on today and also contacts etc.).

A hard reset brought the tabs back, I installed the same apps again (same cabs, same order -as I always install via Activesync-)...

Anyway, I hope this can be taken as a bug report. I'll be passing back on Shaks.P ROM for a while but I'd love to hear what caused it and the cure.

Anybody know where I can set BST instead of GMT, my clock in TF3D keeps reverting back 1hr.

Just an observation, but if you have auto rotate enabled and rotate the programs tab, when you go back it only shows 3 columns, but move to another tab and then back and its fine, 4 columns.

Still feel this is the best rom for my diamond. :D

Update:- manged to find a patch from M$ for the clock issue, so far its ok

How do i have to flash this new version. Normally i flash through the custom ruu or something by computer.

But on the pervious page you say i have to copy DIAMIMG & Install folder to the internal storage and then hard reset right?

Is it that easy, or do i need to know more?!

So, i do not have to sync with my computer?

Can you maybe tell me step by step what to do. I hope you want to do that for me, because i never flashed through this way, and dont want to fck up my Diamond ;)!

a hard reset is not flashing, you have to press down volume back arrow key and the reset button with stylus and gold them all together, then you'll have option to flash by pressing power button

Hi!

This ROM is awesome! After some trouble with flashing, i finally have it up and running for a while now! Its perfect! FAST, STABLE and COOL!

But its a pitty that this ROM has all alarms/rings etc removed. Because i always use the standard ringtone (Ring-innovation) and for sms i use the Alert Glass 1.

Anyone knows how to get these rings back!? Because now it only haves old phone rings etc ( very ugly if u ask me :p )

Is anyone else having SMS & MMS issues with this ROM? It's acting really weird on my Diamond...

SMS:
- Received SMS only appears in TouchFlo3D text message window. They do not appear in my "SMS/MMS" messaging inbox.
- SMS messages that I try and send often do not get sent at all (even though it looks like it was sent) or does not get sent until I soft-reset the phone

MMS:
- I can receive MMS...but I cannot send MMS. The phone doesn't even try to connect to the MMS server.:confused:

No Doubt this ROM is fantastic behaving almost right . I always needed a ROM with FREE Ram. I can do Multitasking with ease running Twikini, Opera 9.7 & News Break in background with 15% RAM left & that is a great work Chef...
Some minor bugs which came across
1. No vibration when Call Connects even after checking that option in settings.
2. Audio Booster not found.
3. While writing message for SMS if i wait for 40 sec without typing anything SMS Compose screen automatically closes. I have to type everything again.
4. Can't run BeeJive application SQL Exception Error comes up.

Any Suggestions to fix this.

I love this fantastic ROM. It is extremely fast!

Though, I have been experiencing Camera issue intermittently. The screen is black in color, but able to take photo.... I can be resolved after soft-reset. I am not sure if it is related to the memory... anyway, the memory still in the 20mB range when the camera is giving problem...

I also found that this rom does not have the 3G Dialer. May I know where can I get the compatible 3G dialer to add on to the existing dialer?

Have been playing with quite a while for this latest rom. I can say it really works well and great --- speed and large main storage memory. It really make my Diamond so outstanding as compared to my friends'.

I am still puzzed by two issues..... really hope someone can enlighten me or provide me some links....

1) Intermittent camera issue -- black screen, but still able to capture picture. Don't think it is related to low memory issue.... Last occurrence was after I active sync with my pc.

2) 3G dialer missing. I previously tried Shaks.Pv4.20 ROM and the 3G dialer works perfect. But the Dialer here doesn't support 3G. I tried making a 3G call to my phone, the screen lited up and the flywheel light blinking, but no ringing tone. I can't answer the call at all.

After going through a full day of searching and finally find out a 3G dialer for this ROM. My HTC Diamond is one step approaching PERFECTION now!

edit2: i got a working VGA cab for EzInput2, but its the one with arrows enabled that eats 2/3 of the screen. I know from using an earlier build of this rom you had a version with the arrows disabled and thats the one id like to use.

I am currently installed with Phatware Calligrapher which I purhcased long ago. Still trying to get use to it....I still prefer the stock Letter Recogniser come with Microsoft. Till date, I am able to find some cab files pertaining to Letter Recogniser in this forum, but they did not work out find for Diamond.:(

Camera blackout issue still persists, but I find it more repetitive when after I sync with my PC. - soft reset will fix the problem. -- rather annoying!

I do not have the problem of white number with barely visible text for any receiving call. It is more likely I installed PhotoContactPro which overwritten it while receiving call. Though, I found my device tends to hang and unable to answer the call intermittently....

Overall, this is a great ROM with huge memory space and fast speed.

I hope all my issues can be fixed in days to come..... Wish me good luck!

(on phone at min) as for this rom already added a different skin for tachi dialer and was going to add ezinput with only english files with other ones you need copied to windows folder(saving over 3mb)

The rom its fast,stable and looks like pretty but there are a massage bug, i cant send sms and i dont recive send/recived notification. I try configure with other app but dont work. I also try to fix with SMSCRASHFIX.cab but dont work too.

Fixed my SMS & MMS problems by hard-resetting and reflashing the ROM.

I did notice a bug in the dialer program. On the "People" tab, regardless of whether I tap on the Mobile, Work, or Home phone number button of one of my favorites, the dialer always indicates that it is dialing the "mobile" phone number. Strangely enough it does in fact dial the correct number that you click on...it just doesn't display it correctly. Looking in the phone log afterwards also shows that the correct phone number was dialed.

We did an extensive discussion in the previous posts as to whether Daz should put or not keyboards in the ROM. Everyone agreed that is better not to.

The taskbar is nice! You don't like colors? Anyway it's the cookers' personal taste.

If you want to have automatic installation, after flashing run SuC.cab. BEFORE reastarting go to your Internal Storage and you ll see a folder named "Backup and Restore". Inside there is another folder Named "CAB" and a subfolder CABi. In there put the cabs that you want them to be installed in the main memory and in the CABi put the cabs you want them installed in the Internal Storage. After Restarting the customization will automatically start installing with some prompts. It's easy and super! sUC RULES!

- I hard reset, but how can i find my cab if i hard reset, it will clean up the 4gb..? Cause if i only restaure to factory settings, maybe i could have bugs after, or its suffisant?

I put cab in the folder CAB and CABi ?

Hi, i've a little problem wich this rom,...

Some times (6 exactly in 4 days) i can't swich on the screen witch the power button,... and i have to restart it... to recover.
But, if i can't swich it on and some one calles me, it swichs on,... so the phone is not hanged,... any help here?

Has anyone else noticed device lockups (requiring a soft-reset) if they set the processor speed (under Settings>Processor) to anything other then the default settings? For example, if I set the Processor profile to "Dazzza", "Power Saving", or "Nataly" and then go to the TouchFlo3D music tab and start an MP3 playing, as soon as idle timer expires the machine completely locks up.

This ROM take low resources and fast response. I like it a lot.

But there is a problem that the Tachi phone canvas can not display Chinese contact name. I did install Chinese IME, the Chinese character could be displayed in other program normally but not phone canvas.

Anyone know how to solve it??

Hi, I have managed to repeat the intermittent camera black-out issue.....

After you plug-in the USB either for charging or for syncing with the PC, the camera will black-out and it will only able to recover after soft-reset.

I tried to hard-reset my set and start with a new fresh ROM without any software installed. Repeat the process of plugging in the USB cable for charging and syncing with PC. Turn off the device while the usb cable still intact. After I unplug USB cable from the device, the camera black-out.

I am not sure if this happen on others. Do let me know if my finding is valid for my own troubleshooting purpose.

P/S: I've installed several radio rom and still having the same camera blackout issue....

I tried to hard-reset my set and start with a new fresh ROM without any software installed. Repeat the process of plugging in the USB cable for charging and syncing with PC. Turn off the device while the usb cable still intact. After I unplug USB cable from the device, the camera black-out.

I am not sure if this happen on others. Do let me know if my finding is valid for my own troubleshooting purpose.

P/S: I've installed several radio rom and still having the same camera blackout issue....

I did that and I don't have this problem. I don't use camera often but I haven't experienced any issue.

This ROM take low resources and fast response. I like it a lot.

But there is a problem that the Tachi phone canvas can not display Chinese contact name. I did install Chinese IME, the Chinese character could be displayed in other program normally but not phone canvas.

Anyone know how to solve it??

I can see Chinese now. Actually I did install the Diamond phone canvas before, it can display Chinese but the call history become blank. I am still hesitate which phone canvas to use since I really like the function of "vibration alarm when call connect" during dial a phone from the Diamond phone canvas.

Nice Rom, almost everything works fine... except sensorlock.

Sensorlock is a small tool which enables the Touchpad by gesture.

Is anybody running sensorlock successful with this rom? I was able to start it once, afterwards even the config is not working anymore. Reinstalling did not help.

Any hintes anybody?

Has anyone else noticed device lockups (requiring a soft-reset) if they set the processor speed (under Settings>Processor) to anything other then the default settings? For example, if I set the Processor profile to "Dazzza", "Power Saving", or "Nataly" and then go to the TouchFlo3D music tab and start an MP3 playing, as soon as idle timer expires the machine completely locks up.

Almost running for 5 hrs Dazzza6.5 i found the ROM Stable & Fast ,only one Soft Reset while using Opera that may be opera is still in beta.
1. I found some memory leakage after soft reset ROM is giving 38% Free RAM after one hour without running any application in background Free RAM decreases to 26 %.
2. No camera balck out issue.
3. After typing a number when i press Green Talk button nothing happens same as that was in Dazza 2.7.1
4. There is increase in Ringtone Volume which is great ...
5. Vibrate on call connect is working but vibration is too slow.

Overall a Great ROM ......:):)

Daz tested your new 6.5 ROM. It is quite good in memory usage. I think though that you used a problematic Manila where the Calendar does not get automatically the local settings and the Weather tab crashes when installin Rhodium. Better to use manila that you had in the final 6.1 ROM.

I will stick with this one and try to find the problem Manila files.

If you disable Touch Flo its like Titanium but still uses tachi dialer.
but Titanium only has none of Tflo stuff and rhodium stuff. i added more stuff as standard in the Titanium one like win live and has more program memory. But i prefer the option to have tflo and disable it if needed.
As for 6.1? well there's no more Nataly kitchens? if a SYS update comes up i could try one with this kitchen (lobsterdave's Diamond-GSM-Kitchen-23003-R1.01 )
Ive tried to keep 6.5 with the same stuff as 2.7 except includes Topaz_EzInput_2 although i dont use radio and internet sharing.
(might make lighter version)

Compliments for your ROM. I've been using it for a day now and didn't find anything wrong yet, the ROM is fast, responsive and not too ram consuming, considering the fast that it has both wm6.5 and tf3d2.
It doesn't have much preinstalled, but I had no problems installing extra progams.
I like this 6.5 build very much, nice graphic improvements.
I found no strange things that needed some sort of a workaround, so, thumbs up

Still running WM6.1 ROM 2.7.1 and loving it (low memory...no lock-ups...fast). Further development of ROM 2.7.1 is probably not going to happen (???) but just in case it does I thought I'd mention a bug I found.

I have Facebook Integration working quite well on my device, however if I go to a contact's event tab and try to "Link Profile - Associate with facebook", the following two problems occur;

1. Device does not automatically connect to the internet even though it is attempting to log in to Facebook

2. It provides me with teh "Facebook Login" page and even though I KNOW I am entering the correct password it immediately comes back with a "Facebook login fail: Connection Failed!" message box. It doesn't matter whether a WiFi or GPRS connection is active or not...it constantly says connection failed. I don't even think it is attempting to connect to the internet.

No, when i could not get _Install folder working on 6.5 it was fine. Unless it says cant find it and stops update?
why not rename a small prog the same name that you would normally install?

As for Facebook it says connection failed but normally when you go back its working?

But going to a specific contact's "Event" tab and trying to "Link Profile:Associate with facebook" never works. It gives me the Facebook login page repeatedly.

Also just noticed that the All People>Menu right soft button dims the screen and no menu pops up. A soft reset is necessary after clicking on this.

Diamond 1 is smaller. (try pic later) (Think ill miss it) (also miss scroll wheel rather volume bar was used to scroll!)
Bluetooth headset had no skipping.
Opera faster and working champion.(version 9.5 16277)
Loads of memory.
Not sure bout battery have not had it long enough but since last evening i fully charged it turned it off last night, switched it on this morning, not used it much today and still full bars so i would say better. Start is quick and does have All Programs (bottom left) and Remove (bottom right) Does not come with programs tab enabled.

Just wait for new rom, but copy _Install folder first. then DIAMIMG
then press and keep pressed volume down plus back arrow plus reset button , hold first 2 for a bit till loader screen comes on and asks to flash by pressing power button.:)

Put old normal battery in TD1, not high quality pics, but suprised not mch difference except longer, bit wider and bit higher, screen longer.

i have a problem, dont know if its only with me..but the battery meter doesnt updated it just shows same amount even after hours of usage, its updated only when the phone is soft reset..
please post a solution for this wanna use this rom

Hi first of all thx for your great work.
i think 2.7.1 is better than the 2.7.3 cause of:
-in htcalbum fingermenu dont work, so when you search an album it becomes imposible.
-program tab freezes constantly

this is mt first impression after 10min of testing, now i'm returning to 2.7.1 that worked almost perfect.

For exaple when you want to make a copy a file from the explorer the most
times its really hard to press on the option... the phone think I want to scroll down and dont let me to press on the option.

if anyone is having problems i think i flashed 6.5 then 2.7.3 plus hard reset and it seemed fine?
for above x2 change wallpaper through tflo settings/wallpaper press no to use default then Albums then pick where. eg storage card

Hi.
I updated from version 2.7 to 2.7.3 and folowed all correct procedures, and hard reset after flash.

I think it is all ok, but the start menu now opens the all programs from the TF3d and I liked better when it opened the start menu, with the shortcut to some programs, last used, and settings...

Can I restore that?

I tryed and change the pagepool to 8 and it really works smooth but some bugs found in camera,camera is not displaying live video but after ccapture it captures well pic,and menu problem firs time u add app in menu then open it just stay as it is i have to move touch flow then try again,after all Great job,:)
