MDA TOUCH PLUS - WM 6.1/6.5 Upgrade...?

Hi folks!

Sorry - I am a complete novice to ROM upgrades etc...

I have an MDA Touch Plus Mobile with T-Mobile, running Windows Mobile 6.0.

I want to upgrade to WM 6.1 or 6.5, however the HTC website suggest that my phone (via S/N number) is not valid for the 6.1 upgrade... :mad:

T-Mobile support is worse than pathetic and offer no advice at all...

Can anyone suggest if it's possible to get the upgrade for my phone and how I would go about it...?
( Remember I'm a novice to Rom upgrades!)

Many thanks and aplogies to those guru's out there who have gone through this issue a million times with folk like me...:confused:

First install the Hard SPL boot loader, after that install a custom rom with wether wm6.1 or wm6.5.

Check out the HardSPL thread and then start reading about custom roms.
