HTC Viva Weather Tab problem

Hi folks,

I own an HTC Touch Viva. Till saturday, I was able to add locations in the weather tab. I installed M2DC on Sunday. Today, when I checked the weather tab, the 'Add Location' option in the menu was disabled. I tried restarting the phone. But, it is nt working. :-(. There are just two options available in the menu viz.'Settings' and 'About'.

Is it the effect of installing M2DC? In tht case its sad because it is a wonderful piece of s/w.

Pls suggest me as to wot I shud do. Thnx in advance.

I have one more doubt folks. I noticed some performance lag after installing M2DC. Is it normal or did i do something wrong in the installation process?

Hi There,

I am having the same problem. I tried restoring the factory settings, and then the weather tab worked fine for the next 2 to 3 days, then again it was gone. Meanwhile I installed only MS Reader.

I called up HTC Guys, and they said restore factory settings. Doing that again and again is really uncomfortable you know..

Please help if anybody has a clue.

facing the same problem but havent installed M2DC. i dont know what's M2DC, actually.
anyway, i will suggest tp install SPB Mobile Shell 3.0, it has weather app along with many more cities database. (though Shell 3.5 is released, it's not sugested for Viva, it slows down).
