hey i thought it would be interesting to see how many people are using each version along with their reviews on the os, for example what are features they like about it, what needs to be improved in it, would you recommend it to others and why

6.5 just works a lot better for me. Only thing I don't like is that I can't get a custom volume controller working, but besides that it's great.

I use 6.5 and I like the new start menu, as well as the fact that everything is snappier. however as an user that takes advantage of the multimedia capabilities, i feel that microsoft left us out in the dark with no update to media player. O before i forget, titanium is awesome as well!

I am using 6.1 because that is what came on the HTC Touch Pro from US Cellular. Besides I really don't know how or where to upgrade it any way.

6.5 is much smoother and responsive. It feels like what the vogue should have been in the 1st place...

Titanium is ok, hopefully it will get good skins over time...

The start menu is really good. You can really use it with your fingers now... (I hate using a stylus).

Improvements:

- A standard landscape keyboard (can always get one elsewhere)

- I wish they would get the autolock to work well...

I use 6.1 to launch Android... only because I've been too lazy to install 6.5... and since I use android full time, why bother?

I'm rocking 6.5 to launch Android also.

But I would like to say that Titanium is Rubbish and looks old and unprofessional. Microsoft got hella lazy with their implementation of Titanium and even though Manilla 2d/Touchflo 3d is 'boring' it is much more effective in getting day to day tasks done in winmo. Yeah you can customize titanium but as far as I'm concerned something should not be rubbish and then have to be hacked to be good. Microsoft is yet again complacent.

From what I have seen and read, 6.5 is a great improvement over 6.1, but not the "holy grail".

The new 6.5 interface is much cleaner and user friendly, as well as the new finger functions which really were lacking in the 6.1. I'd love to have a ROM which installs more finger friendly operation. Hate using the stylus on those tiny weeny boxes. :)

Personally, I would try to update my HTC Sprint Touch to 6.5, but after reading all the pertinent threads, find it confusing. I like NFSFans information, but the installation needs to be simplified a bit more for newbies.
This would certainly increase the number of users who would enjoy the benefits of the 6.5 from all of the reliable "Chiefs" out there.

PS: Was there a Poll thread somewhere? I didn't see any boxes to check.
